Hi everyone. Since this review went out I have been made aware that Trumpeter have updated theit HEMTT kits with the missing chassis crossmembers added.
Been there done that. I have trashed 2 or 3 kit builds in my lifetime. You clearly are operating with a few more cylinders than I. It is quite an experience to view videos by highly adept & involved modelers.
Funny the MRAP i'm building has all the right branding logo's,CAT;Oshkosh and Michelin.Looks massive kit compared to my little Oshkosh.SYZE uk,just got tweezers from them.Best ive used.£12 but you can see why.Be nice if there was an engine for the HEMTT kit you could review.
Best mould ive ever seen,no bullshit.You won't be dissapointed i promise.And its a kit thats going to be around for ages,no rush.Its got no hidden corners,all detailed.Looks a challenge though.Decals for all branded engine parts,and vinyl or PE Oshkosh mudflap's.Thats what i wanted those metal thin sanders for,its going to need them.
The hemmt I'm gonna get the one with the trailer, gonna put either a dozer or the m9. That mk23 is a odd build, very annoying at times, I have a friend who is a modeler at NASA, aka he is just like you, incredible at adding scratch stuff, and he is beyond annoyed with it. Lol
