What I find funny 😁, The Haters.
They claim to hate Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis brand, yet they waste their time watching videos of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles, go figure!
Currently I own 2006 Hyundai Tucson, 2012 Hyundai Azera, and 2019 Genesis G70 3.3T.
All have over 128k miles on them. All purchased new.
You gotta be a very lonely person to watch videos of vehicles that you hate, just to leave negative comments!

I gotta go with Roman on this one. It's just ok and I can't believe how small it is inside! In all fairness, tho, I'm not a sedan guy anyway, but not impressed.
Genesis makes great looking & driving cars & suvs. BUT, their reliability & resale are not that great.
If someone buys a car for it's resale they should skip the purchase altogether

I own a '22 3.3T AWD G70 and the only thing I would change is probably stretch the wheelbase about 5-7", add ambient lighting, and for the love of God, give me a fully digital interface on the dash. I absolutely hate that they split it up like that, especially given the fact that all the other models to include some Hyundai's have it. But that aside, I absolutely LOVE my G70!

13:59 SUVs can't handle as well as their car counterparts. Modern SUVs can handle "car like" relative to trucks and body on frame SUVs, and SOME can handle better than non-performance cars like great-grandmas' Avalon. But a GV70 will never out-handle and outperform its corresponding G70. Higher center of gravity, higher weight, bigger and heavier unsprung mass, worse body roll and aero. MIGHT be close in a drag race because the suspension travel lets a huge amount of weight transfer happen to the rear but certainly wouldn't feel good.
Get a G70 & GV70, or a Guilia & Stelvio, or another comparable pairing and have Paul track them side by side. Time to put such wild notions to bed once and for all.

I have a 24 sport prestige 3.3t rwd the car is very fun n people still don't know what it is I get compliments alot about it n it can dust a bunch of cars and people don't even notice it coming only thing is it needs ambient lighting how you miss that
It reminds me of a Chrysler 200, and the badges make people think it's a Chrysler 200, so no one really notices those cars, but they are infinitely better than the 200.
I almost bought one, but I just didn't trust the dealership at all, like they're a bunch of meth dealers on the side
Roman forgets about states like the entire south, especially Florida where sport/luxury cars still make waaayyy more sense than 4wd suvs…..especially when you can legally tint them
My 2020 stinger Gt line heaps the utility and rear space and gets easy 35 MPG on the hwy! Love it!
I almost bout a 2023 G70 3.3 prestige but hated how narrow the seat space was for the driver. Loved everything but my current Accord EX L V6 COUPE had more room and width as well as a smoother ride. Not as fast though. But i couldn't justify a 50k hyundai in a suit!

Why does the Sonata have a fully digital gauge cluster while this luxury car has that awful 1/2 analog thing?
$41-50k is a good range for Base - Loaded.
To be fair. Lexus (IS) also has same back seat issue. But I bought a 2024 G70 2.5T for its overall performance, comfort and tech. Rarely do I or will have any one in the back. A super big plus is the front pass seat control available for the driver. I don’t know of any other brand that does this.
Love my ‘22 3.3t! Haven’t had any issues which is new for me, previously owning a ‘17 Volvo S90 and a ‘08 BMW 5 series

You two reviewers need to lose weight! Get yourselves a full size pickup! Nothing else you will fit in if you don't fit in the Genesis. I'm 6' and 220 and the GV80 is plenty big.

I like the Fsport Lexus 350 but i feel it should have way more power than what it has im considering this car

I'll side with Nathan here. It's really an attractive car. Losing the manual probably removes me as a buyer though.
Can you tell me what other manual cars you own currently or have owned in the past 3 years?
@@LafemmebearMusic drove a 1995 Grand AM from the early 2000s up until just a few years ago. 294000 miles and sold running. Original transmission and clutch. Fun to drive (due to tranny, not make/model lol). Better maintenance/longevity. Although dwindling, if you search there are still multiple automakers that make manual transmissions. Seeing another model drop it is depressing personally. Maybe not for you and that's all good with me.
I will buy the G70 over the BMW 3. The BMW is made in Mexico. The G70 is made in Korea.

Hyundai is great, but this is a Elantra with a sonata engine. New they are too much money, I might get a 2020 as a second vehicle , but the g80 is more comfortable.
Is (power-weight-fuel consumption) at the same good level (competitive) compared to BMW 3 or 4 series and Mercedes-Benz C series models of the same level?. 🤔

I wouldnt never aim at Tesla....its an EV. EV sales are falling. The reason this car isnt huge is because the only way to be best in class is to increase size. Before long you end up with an overpriced boat.
My wife has had hers since the end of 21 and she loves it. I have had BMW and MB and you really just pay for the name and Hyundai has a lot better service

I used to work for Genesis, they’re great looking cars but are a nightmare when they go sideways and SIDEWAYS they will go, lease, don’t finance or do a cash purchase

You called this the GV70, which is the SUV.. Make sure you know the name of the model before reviewing it😂😂. That's gonna confuse alot of people out there who are not familiar with the Genesis brand

I agree with Roman, why shoot for a BMW 3 series. This might be a new design for Genesis but it already looks dated. Especially the instrumentation.
Absolutely disagree. The recent updates around the headlights are fresh, and there's no mistaking this for anything German or Japanese. Nailed the styling.

I wasn't liking any of the Genesis models at all. Just didn't like the styling (too trendy, won't age well, crappy colors, gaudy textures). But I'm glad I watched this video... I'm on Nathan's side, i like this model. Yes, the side styling features are a lot like BMW's, but if you're going to copy, that's not a bad source to copy from. I'll actually try going to the builder site to see how this model configures. I wouldn't actually but one, but this G70 is at least dream worthy.

The front end and back remind me of Mercedes sedan and that back leg room is disappointing should be more never thought Hyundai would lack on room always thought these Korean and other manufactures made sure the back seat leg room is enough.
Also this the last year for it it's being discontinued 😢 it's a really good fun car if people would actually drive it and know about it
Drove the new 300hp g70 and it did not feel faster than a 255hp 3-series, probably a 6 second car like the new c300...

They are sibling cars, I prefer the Stinger styling better than the Genesis!
@@txvet7738 I do as well, I own a 2023 Stinger, never heard of Genesis before until last year. There are some things about G70 that I like, but not enough for me to make a change.
@@EdwardBaldwin definitely not and the Stinger has had the 2.5 turbo motor in it since 2022. Don’t know why Genesis took so long to switch it.

I owned a Sonata a long long time ago, worst car ever. Swore I'd never buy another Hyundai. They've really matured as a car manufacturer since then but that initial impression has stuck.
Well by that logic I guess you're limiting yourself from getting anything from Mini, Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, GMC, Cadillac, Hummer, Lincoln, Buick, Bentley, Rolls Royce and Mayback too huh

I almost bought one of these (the 3.3TT AWD). Sometimes it's difficult to know what to do with one's money... I decided against it. One of the reasons was that the AWD M340 is much nicer, although $10,000 more. Ultimately bought neither.
