I can relate to the mayhem of wires behind you at the start of the video. There was always something soothing about being surrounded by a mess of things you love. Until my gf yells at me to clean it up. But that's cool, just an opportunity to make a better mess 🙃.
All my pedals are Boss so they are in a BCB 60 board that is designed to hold Boss Pedals. But this is pretty cool your original clip looks like a bike chain piece, don't know if that would work or or help.
Good idea but obviously it makes swapping out pedals a chore and will put holes all over your board. It's really easy to brush out any debris your velcro picks up which is not really such a problem
Absolutely, this was for a simple board to much around with temporarily. I'm going to be taking most if these pedals apart at some point to build something a bit ridiculous. So stay tuned.
After experimenting I found that you can with some pedals and some not a good idea. Ie. TC Electric pedals must have an internal reed switch because I can turn them on and off by moving the magnet closer and further away from the backside center of the digital delay and reverb pedal. I may try to epoxy a piece of steel to the backside of them for magnetic shielding/mounting base and see how that goes. I have an old Dane electro milkshake pedal that seems to work just fine as the battery cover screw is magnetic and it didn’t affect it.
Thanks man! I'm gonna give it a try.
Cool, thanks for watching.
Very nice! Clever idea.
I've used the cable tie method in a few cases.
Great, thanks for letting me know.
This is great, I didn’t think to use meccano!
I'm not sure if it's bonkers, but i had a load so may as well.
Awesome idea bro thank you very much for sharing your ideas
Cheers, thanks for watching and commenting.
Awesome thanks
It's a pleasure.

Ha. I actually love tidying things up, but almost always within a week it's a mess again.
Drill holes underneath and tap them then unseen and if countersunk flush aswell
Interesting, thanks for sharing.
Dude nice! I like how you got alot of stuff on this channel. I'll be rearranging my pedals now lol
Thanks for commenting. I love those Facebook threads that lead to discovering new channels.
nice one Sir 👌
Thank you.

That's a good idea for the bike chain piece. That special boss board is pretty cool, boss have so many pedals you probably don't need anything else.
Excellent video!
6:13 That sounds like Robocop.
Ha, thanks!
The parts of a bike chain are also very handy to screw the pedals on the wood 😉
I guess that's really what those things I used to buy were, just repackaged. I may actually buy some bike chain now, thanks.
Great thks!!!!!!

@@DevilAndSons will do
Great 😊😊
Thanks so much.
Can't live without my NS2!
I wonder if pegboard would be strong enough. Loads of holes would mean you could rearrange things pretty easy
That's a great idea. You could easily put some beams along the back to reinforce it.
Sama here ns2 is awesome
Noisy people.
Anyone try rare earth magnets? Wonder if they would effect the electronics…
That's an interesting idea. I wonder how strong they are when the pedals are being used a lot like a wah?
I hang spray cans from the ceiling of my work van with inch and a half diameter round ones.
That's cool.

That's interesting. I like the idea of controlling a pedal with a magnet, it may have some interesting advantages.
Wow

Soul Food by Electro Harmonics and a Boss Chorus
The soul food is meant to be great.
Countersunk machine screws are not " technically called bolts " lol 🤣 where on earth did you get that idea from ?????
I guess that they are flat ended like bolts not screws?
My Dad invented cable ties
I'm speechless. I do hope he made a fortune from the patent.
@@DevilAndSons naw he got screwed on the patent. Didn’t make a dime. Sad story. I still have the box of all the engineering and legal documents
That is terrible, it's such an incredible invention that is used so widely. I'm sorry to hear that.
Awesome! just what I was looking for, thank you a million times ...bye bye sloppy pedal board!
So glad it was helpful. Thanks for letting me know.
that one you can't get anymore looks like a bicycle chain link
Yes, I think you may be right.
Actually theyre called machine screws 😁
You're right, duh! Thanks for pointing this out
Keep in mind! Unscrewed bolt - void warranty
Good point
Horrible 😂
But useful?
