The philosophy of not hitting URs really becomes a problem when half the cards in every top deck they've been releasing lately are URs.
Giving players UR dust isn’t even a net negative gain for them. UR’s will always be desperately needed

Ever since I installed master duel I just rock a branded labrynth deck
And my branded has no UR extra deck cards but it has a chaos angel. That's mostly because I suck at deck building and it my best deck. And Yeah no ash blossoms just max c

For real I’m not sure why everyone is complaining. If we get to tier 0 format than that’s a different story but it’s always been that way

@@FrostReave Matchmech hasn't been making any waves to hit it. If anything the dominant decks are super heavy, Snakeeyes, Mannadium and Branded.
Rip all the rogue decks that used Parallel Exceed, loved using it in Invoked as an extender.
I mean the engine is still playable tho. In fact, Some people played it at 2 anyways because it was kinda bricky at 3

We don’t know when bonfire is releasing. But to do full power Snake-eyes with Tearl, Tira, Runick, and etc. gettin hits for last 5 patches. You should’ve expected it to be pay to win with a Tier 1 deck. They do it all time. But anyways when’s next zombie support?

It's far from hell. This is by far the best format we've had in a while. Tearlaments and Runick were absolutely horrendous.

Btw the reason exceed got hit has to do with the fact that prank kids meow mu is now also at 3. It's also a 'hit' to mathmetch at the same time. 2 birds with 1 stone.

Completely pointless. Hit Circular we already know that’s the only solution they already sorted that out with the OCG and TCG. Hitting Exceed just hurt sa lot of other decks so it’s a net negative

@@dahboor5248 I never said ban it necessarily just hit it. I would be fine with a 1 or ban restriction. The TCG and OCG hit it recently with a much more oppressive deck format

Thankfully is one of the parallel exceed decks least affected cause they have quite consistent access to it with formud skipper, and you can also play scripton as another target now

I wouldn't say droll was only for SHS. It also hit mannadium, which came out in the previous pack and had support in the SHS pack. I would say purrely was more format warping as a single deck, forcing players to play kaijus and herald of the abyss.
It was the leading factor though. It shot from a low percent to a majority percent just because of SHS

what hell? I'm Lab user since Day 1 of their release.. that deck never been good until They kicked Tear out of game. Even now, it's not that good (4/10 games uninterrupted play and acctualy win).

I mean as long as they keep doing consistency hits not much will change, branded is one of those deck that will always find ways to adapt and become consistent again even with 69 cards, they gotta do hits to its power instead

Whenever Konami dances around the problem of certain tiered cards it’s always innocent decks that catch all the strays.
The semi-limited parallel Exceed only kill consistency (it is a bridge for small world if your reveal droll and lockbird) and combo extender for Mathmech if your want to go for singularity. This will not kill mathmech tbh. If konami really want to keep circular, alternative their can ban alambertian as alambertian is the key searcher and extender of mathmech especially if you start combo with firewall defenser.

Pretty underwhelming, but given how low my expectations were I'd say it's a decent list. At least they eased restrictions on a couple appropriate cards.

They kept Chaos Ruler in the game way longer than they should have, though, and dragoon was banned before the game even launched.

Branded Opening to 1 is not a little deal. That also completely kills Branded Chimera as a viable strategy before it even exists.
The only hope for Chimera is printing "nightmare apprentice" ahead of time. Otherise the deck is unplayable and no one will buy the pack. In the OCG the nightmare apprentice version is reasonably playable.
if you play chimera with Branded, then you playing Chimera incorrectly.
@@mrbondtux4987 Naw branded chimera is the best or one of the best decks for the Chimera archetype. Branded fusion into rindbrum is leads to a full blown combo.

Any handtrap + Parallel is full Mathmech combo. Now they won't be able to run as many handtraps as they want anymore.

Another reason they hit exceed is also because any card that can make a link 1 can make either more link plays or r4 XYZ play I also blame this hit on trap tricks and mathmech
Most traptrix players have already stopped using exceed. This Is for mathmech, still a stupid hit because they don't really care about it.

Parallel was semi-limited because the snake eyes version.
No mathmech is just good again due to bystials not being common, still doesn't hold a candle to snake eye but after branded it's pretty much the third best thing you can be playing
im not leaving branded for snake eyes. imagine what we've been through to get full support. tri brigade, dogma, swordsoul, despia, spright, bystial, it's like waiting every episode of your favorite netflix series

Imagine instead of hitting a card that would specifically target one deck, they just hit a card that affects many rogue decks, again.
I think parallel exceed limit to 2 per a deck because alot of the poorer players were playing this card alot because it was a common rarity and it was easy to make into a staple in almost alot of the deck. I know I use it alot of my decks with both link and xyz decks. konami wants you to waste more gems/money on higher rarity cards.

I just built my mathmech deck and it already got hit by ban list WTH =.= parallel exceed was also working as my small world bridge but now we can play only 2 😦 they could have hit circular instead of paralled and it wouldn't have mattered much cuz I'm playing only 1 circular and it still works great
First of all you are crying about the smallest most irrelevant hit they could have made? Second of all if you don’t expect Mathmech getting hit then you only have yourself to blame cause it’s been a long time coming.

When you look at tear deck all the deck limited to one
too early for snake eyes i suppose. they released it at the same time as 2 events. farming gems from both of those events, would definitely help you get closer to snake eyes. slap in a couple of dusts, then its done.

Parallel Exed is good in snake eyes for Dweller Access
Hitting parallel exceed is actually a massive hit for any deck that plays it because it acts like gamma - you always draw this card in pairs lmao. I originally ran it at 2 in my traptrix and mathmech decks but I drew both of them SO MUCH that I just had to put it at 3 so that AT LEAST ONE is still in the goddamn deck...also maxx c be drawing them 1 right after the other so consistently like...I get emotional just talking about it tbh Lol

I disagree. For tier 0 and 1 decks, it’s just a win more card. If those decks couldn’t use it then I’d agree but I would rather do without it than have it and I play mostly rogue decks.
@@G1nSan3Absolutely not. All it does in any format is make the game inherently more frustrating. It’s not a go second card, it doesn’t put a bandaid on the meta and coin flip. It’s a free advantage/win card. No matter the circumstances or deck it will define the game.

@ckdragon2623 It benefits tiered decks just as much if not *more* because a card for them is worth more then rogue decks entire hand. It carries *nothing* but misery for everyone. Its also better going first then second because then you have to OTK through their board *and* whatever they draw from Maxx C

As that one guy who still plays prank kids, I can glady say this banlist is enough to make a grown man cry, and thats okay, go on ahead tear.
It really seems like Konami is going for a repeat of the PePe emergency banlist with Snake Eyes. I've seen the cards played a lot, mainly on EdoPro. (haven't been on Master Duel too much recently) Hopefully once the new Yubel cards make it over to Master Duel, that it might upset the meta balance.
