Military, US HF-GCS, the (no longer) last Skyking transmission, 4724 kHz, 07 October, 2019, 0131 UTC

UPDATE: Since late May of 2022 several Skyking messages have been transmitted. It appears that the use of the Skyking format on HF has resumed. I have kept the annotation below to show what was happening before the resumption of Skykings on HF. Unfortunately UA-cam will not let me edit this video, I can delete it or I can leave it as original, but I cannot change it to reflect the newer reality.
BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION.
The type of signal in this video is the highest priority type of transmission on the US military HF-GCS (High Frequency Global Communication System, HFGCS ) network. This is a SkyKing transmission. More than that, to the best of my knowledge, this is the last SkyKing transmission anyone has reported hearing (see UPDATE). I know it for sure is the last SkyKing I personally have heard to date.
Prior to this transmission, SkyKings were not common, but not unheard of either. Sometimes you might hear several a day, but it was more common to hear a few in a month period of time.
This SkyKing, other than being one of, if not the, last one sent, is normal in format.
The callsign used in this SkyKing, "OutCross", is a regular rotating callsign. These callsigns change every 24 hours, changing at 0000 UTC each day. The callsigns are randomly selected, and do not give away the specific source of the transmission. Such callsigns are seldom reused, although it is possible to hear the same callsign back in the rotation, sometimes years later.
The HF-GCS is maintained and operated by the US Air Force, however all US forces have access to the system.

I remember those EAMs being a lot longer than that back in my SAC days. Each Buff mission, we’d have to request an HF one from Giant Talk, request a UHF one from an in range SAC command post, and get one over the AFSATCOM. It was a real pain in the ass sometimes, especially trying to reach Giant Talk.

All EAM formats have slowly changed over the years. Skykings used to be much longer format. In the late 90's or early 2000's they became very short, just a few characters. In around 2016 (I don't remember the exact date) they transitioned to a single code word, vs a set of characters.

A.I. generated broadcast twice tonight. Asian sounding fake m/opp 5 minutes later same signal s-2 from a fm/opp both with the same transmission of "Any aircraft any aircraft this is [unreadable] any station any station standing by for traffic." 11.175. hf. 00:56 utc time for second comm. Same A.I. voice only m/opp. 1 hour latter of "any aircraft any aircraft this is [unreadable] how copy over? 5 minutes after the last bogus comms. mainsail broadcast a test count with a 12345- 54321.This is mainsail out. Unreal.

@V. Shortwaver : It turns out several people have heard them since then. I have heard a couple, however, I have not recorded any. I typically realize it is a Skyking too late to record. I heard one in May and one in July, and I have been told there are others.
