Hoist the Colors to me was what really upped the ante of At World's End. It transformed the conflict of the film, and whole series really, from just a bunch of squabbling pirates fighting to keep doing what pirates do, into an ultimate final battle between Freedom and Subjugation. The score itself is absolutely amazing, as per the usual for Hans Zimmer, and really left an impact on the PotC franchise as a whole. Excellent compilement of the score of course and thanks very much for providing a reliable source to come to for casual music lovers!
No problem! I'm just glad to be able to share mixes of film scores and attain some sort of an audience, no matter how seemingly irrelevant the franchise or series it's from may be. I also agree on Hoist the Colours, I may not be too into At World's End but it really helped amplify that feeling of a final stand and final conflict so well
