I think in the background chords you can even hear something similar to the Jones theme. It's so obvious now but I never noticed before.
The "Davy Jones Commanded" bit will always be my favorite. It just flows perfectly from the somber Davy Jones theme to the light-hearted Will and Elizabeth theme. Which makes sense when you think about it. Davy Jones is a man without love and Will and Elizabeth had just started to fall in love. Very fitting.

Hans Zimmer is an absolute genius, and you showed your own talent as well for rearranging in a way that still gives proper tribute to the original, but with a new twist. I especially like how you made “Up is Down” fit so well with the second half of “I Don’t Think Now is the Best Time.” The two pieces sound wonderful together, like a perfectly fitted glove on the hand. I think Herr Zimmer himself would have to approve.

I just only recently watched potc 2 months ago after the trial of Jd and AH. There hasn't been any other movie I loved since the LOTR until I watched potc movies. The music has stuck with me. I can hear it anywhere and everywhere.
I've seen a lot of compilations, and this one is one of the best. It's very hard to merge the tracks together and you did an excellent job of it. Loved hearing my old favorites from the films all together. Side note, was anyone besides me all throat-constricted around the beginning of the "Marry Me" suite up until the more lamenting bit? I loved how Zimmer added the heartbreak and pain into the suite as well as the hope and joy.
I completely agree with the description of the love themes and the way Zimmer absolutely made a masterpiece with this one. I categorize it as one of the greatest film scores of all time.

Yeah, Kingdom of Heaven (director's cut) was pretty good. He really is a bad actor, though, I would have been much more moved by his and Elizabeth's story if he'd been better.
I didn't make one for him sadly. I was thinking of doing it but I couldn't find many variations that weren't already in the track titled Blackbeard on the OST. It felt a little derivative for me to do so, but maybe in the future. Will admit though, he does have a sick theme!

Orlando Bloom isnt a terrific actor, but his performances in the early 2000s were all very memorable, i miss that era of movies.
