- My first time in India! So excited to be in #Kochi, #Kerala. I could not have asked for a warmer welcome from the weather and from my Uber taxi driver - Ginesh. He shared with me his knowledge of the area and paid for my ferry crossing to get me to Fort Kochi! This is the best way to kick off my 1 month visit to India and my time in Kerala, God’s own country

He is the friendliest and most knowledgeable driver you can find in India, although he sometimes shares his personal perspectives on certain facts. The tourism department should take note of people like him; he promotes tourism better than the government bureaucrats. Kudos to him and all the best for your venture in Kerala!
Yes he is! Thank you so much for your kind words!
brother you are in kerala . Majority of kerala people are kind and don't want to scam you. if you feel scammed just call the police . they will happily solve issue for you

For travelling one place to other inside a city or town try using uber, ola, rapido, or blabla cabs mobile application. For booking hotels you can try OYO,ibibo mobile application.
There are three different range of food available in india i.e., for below middle class rates will vary from below 100, middle class rates will vary from 100-300 and above middle class and rich rates will vary above 300 always try to eat food at middle class and above middle class range food it gone be good for you and your family if any.
In India, if you feel food spicy or hot then you can ask for lemon, curd or yogurt to make it neutral or tamarind chutney.
Can you suggest few good restaurants in kochi ?

I had two meals in Fort Kochi, one was recommended by the guest house I was staying at called Fort Paragon Restaurant by Calicut Paragon and did some amazing fish and the second was near Mattancherry Palace called Ginger House Restaurant for lunch over looking the river
I think recently everyone in Kerala started to think Kerala as a superior state compared to others while we can even enjoy same amount of freedom everywhere

Hi! Thanks for your comment :)
Please visit Bihar immediately after Kerala. The difference will stun you.
Thank you for the suggestion!
@@wilkowandersI wouldn't suggest, that. As it is the extreme opposite of Kerala. Most of the bad stereotypes about India is from states like Bihar.
The ferry is the easiest way. Going over the bridge is Longer way and have 20 something Traffic Signals and Ofcourse Busy City Roads. Btw next time you can use water metro to get Mainland from Fort kochi. There are many Places to explore in kochi. Do it your own and please don't Do Tuk tuk Tours

You can visit holy palace in India like:
Banaras in Uttarpradesh
Rishikesh in uttrakhand
Aayodhya Dham in ayodhya
Shri padmanabhamSwamy temple in Kerala
Lotus temple in Delhi
Lakshmi Narayan mandir in Delhi
Thank you for the warm welcome! I'll definitely add these holy places to my must-visit list. Excited to explore the spiritual side of India! 🙏🇮🇳
There is also boat service for passengers only.
That's great to know! Thanks for the info.
There is no relation with parashuram and the quote gods own country. Gods own country - is relatively new term. When tourism boom came, only then this term came.
Story of parasuram is just a mithology , related to bhraminism coming to kerala.
The term gods of country was coined by tourism industry due to its beauty.
State is almost 100 % literate.
There is no rule that metro should travel underground. Driver doesn't know the difference between metro rail and mono rail....
Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's interesting to hear different interpretations and insights.
@Wilko, it sucks that your videos are not in HD. Unable to watch it on TV with Family. ☹
Who watches this stuff on TV with family 😮
Hey, thanks for flagging this! It should have been in HD, but I think something happened with the upload! ☹️ all future videos will be HD including the Fort Kochi video coming up!
U should visit ladakh Leh, kashmir, Shimla, Manali, Rishikesh, udaipur, Jaisalmer, jodhpur, Jaipur, Goa, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar islands in India

The one thing I appreciate the most from this video is , The taxi driver really considered himself as an equal to a white guy while explaining things in details .
Most of the people around us are not like this.

Majority of indian muslim live in Kerala, no doubt it's better than the rest of India
I assume you have no knowledge of the statistics.
We keralites love each other, be it Hindu, Muslim, Christian or some other religion.
And no religion is above another religion. All religions teach to do good to others.
And of course there are people in India who fight in the name of religion. They are usually people who don't have anything to do / jobless.
Peace and Love ❤️
Thanks for your comment
No bro
I think Kerala has a higher Christian population
hey the video quality is only upto 420P why is that?
Thanks for flagging Paul, it should have been HD but for some reason it’s not uploaded that version. All future videos will be 1080p! 🙏
