Lots have mentioned doubling season but I have not seen anyone mentioning that estrid +2 is what is in untaping the chain Vail so at the point that you stop +2ing her the combo stops so you cant -7 estrid more then one time per turn
6:56 Doubling Season does not work that way. The number in the right /bottom corner of a planeswalker means basically "this card enters the battlefield with this number of loyalty counters on them" and doubling season can duplicate that, but it doesn't work in the loyalty ability. A loyalty ability means this "put or remove this quantity of loyalty counters on this card to do this effect" Since putting (or removing) counters from a planeswalker it's a cost doubling season does not duplicate those counters.
For some reason I never considered that Chain Veil and Estrid go infinite with as little as 2 land enchants. I've been playing Estrid Enchantress ft. Omniscience+Attunement and never considered how well she works with the veil. My favorite part of my build is definitely the Humility-style auras, like Darksteel Mutation and other "thing becomes a useless mook". There's a LOT of these. Stand-outs include Darksteel Mutation itself bc Indestructible is honestly downside most of the time bc they can't kill their Commander to reset it, Mystic Subdual for having Flash, and Kenrith's Transformation for cantriping.
Enlightened Tutor is a must if you want to rely on Doubling Season and Chain Veil. That said, I never thought about using Estrid as a Superfriends deck. I think I'm gonna try it! Also, Karn Liberated can wipe the board and then restart the game giving you all that stuff (If we're still abusing Chain Veil).

Hi there, doubling season doesn't work how you think it does with planeswalkers plus abilities Planeswalkers will enter the battlefield with double the normal number of loyalty counters. However, if you activate an ability whose cost has you put loyalty counters on a planeswalker, the number you put on isn’t doubled. This is because those counters are put on as a cost, not as an effect. On the flipside Vorinclex does double the plus counters due to it's specific wording of 'you' putting counters on things (not an effect)

Doubling season does not adjust loyalty ability costs, only the starting loyalty of your walkers. Sadly, it states that whenever an effect would put a counter, and since loyalty abilities are costs to do an effect it doesn’t effect your loyalty.
How do you win with this deck? You ramp, draw, wipe, and cast PWs that control the game state, but how do you end up dealing 40 damage to players? I want to build a PW-themed deck and debating whether to go bant (my fav) vs 5 colors (allows red and black PWs that can actually deal damage to players). Thanks.
