This is excellent advice for all young men and ladies. It also an excellent reminder to married folk. Father, do you have any advice for Catholic married couples that were not married in the church? My husband and I have been happily married for six years with two children. We would like to try correct our error. ❤
Take time for yourself to rest and pray, to hear Christ and Our Lady. Not sure harming one's health to extremes is what is asked for in marriage. However sacrifice is your treasure in Heaven provided one stays on the path to the end.
Father, are you aware about the increasing problem in the world with Narcistic Personal Disorder. I am a victim of this problem and I know another person in the tradition who has a similar problem in their marriage. I think young people should be made aware of this disorder and possible red flags before they court. People with NPD are very dangerous for other people's souls. I think the SSPX sholuld be aware of what is going on because these people look for spouses (usually for wives) in the tradition because they are hungry for power and authority and want a submissive wife. Unfortunately, due to the lack of awareness, before the other person realizes that they are being manipulated by someone with NPD, it is usually too late and they're married and confused as to why they are suddenly being treated so poorly.
I have a genuine question...back then you didn't see any signal that could indicate this and because you were "in love", you prefer to ignore? Also, did you ask advice to your father and priest?
Excellent, thank you for sharing.Greetings from SSPX Perú.
Spot on as always, Father. 👍

Father, what happens when one sacrifices all, including health, for the spouse to no avail, what does a person do then when they are so worn out?
No sacrifice is wasted. Sacrifice we make is life long. It exhausts us. We are often tempted to perhaps give up. Perseverence is the key.
