When an unconverted man crosses over into eternity, it will be at that moment when he finally realizes that it was not just the materialistic things that the Lord had gracefully provided him with, it was also his earthly time. He will have a clear understanding that the TIMES he had wasted on pursuing worldly riches and pleasures were far less valuable than pursing an ONGOING relationship with Christ (Luke 15:17). By the Lord’s sovereign grace, He has afforded us the glorious opportunity to follow Him as our Lord and Savior. I don’t care for the disrespectful attitude toward his wife’s prayer. We shouldn’t try to get a laugh at any cost…the Holy Spirit was bored? Let’s not get taken in by someone who says many things well but goes off the rails. Keep your discernment in all things.
The message is far more important than the preacher demeanor about his own story. We have all our flaws but take "into" your heart what the Holy Spirit was trying to convey in this preaching for us the couple. Pray together as couple and Put God first and let Him be the center of your marriage, that is all that matter in his preaching!
