Regarding the Divine Mercy devotion - Pope Pius XII placed the writings of Faustina on the Index Librorum Prohibitorum (Index of Forbidden Books) after they were examined and found to contain doctrinal errors. Our Lord does not make doctrinal errors in His appearances. Cardinal Ottaviani, head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith released this statement at the time, “There is no evidence of the supernatural origin of these revelations". Under Pope Pius XI, this statement was released regarding Faustina's writings: "New forms of worship and devotion, often enough ridiculous, usually useless imitations or corruptions of similar ones which are already legitimately established, are in many places, especially in these recent days, being daily multiplied and propagated among the faithful, giving occasion to great astonishment and to bitter aspersion on the part of non-Catholics”. Following are some of the statements from Faustina's diary: Page 176: “You are a sweet grape and a chosen cluster. I want others to have a share in the juice that is flowing within you.” P.191: “For your sake I will withhold the hand which punishes; for your sake I will bless the Earth.” P. 247: “And know this, too, my daughter. All creatures, whether they know it or not, and whether they want to or not, always fulfill my will. My daughter, if you wish, I will this instant create a new world, more beautiful than this one, and you will live there for the rest of your life.” P.260: “For many souls will turn back from the gates of Hell and worship my mercy.” P.374: “If they will not adore my mercy, they will perish for all eternity.” P.382: “I desire that my mercy be worshiped.” P.288: “That is why I am uniting myself with you so intimately as with no other creature.” P.400: “I see your love so pure, purer than that of the angels, and all the more so because you keep fighting. For your sake I bless the world.” P.417: “Tell the Superior General to count on you as the most faithful daughter in the Order.” There are other statements in her writings which inflate her pride. Further, the painting she commissioned is not Christ is similar to new age images, Every image given to us by Christ of Himself in private revelations always shows His wounds from the crucifixion. This painting from Faustina has no crucifix wounds.

Another distinction regarding the new divine mercy image and the traditional sacred heart image is that the scared heart image belongs next to the Immaculate heart of Mary and together we know God offers us salvation. Stan well knows Mary is "The Women", God intends 3:15Genesis will crush the head of the serpent in the end and therefore Satan in his slyness will always seek to divide us from the mother of God and frankly I see the image of the divine mercy is being used to do this. We only have so many walls to hang images and therefore I challenge everyone to choose to hang the Sacred heart of Jesus and Immaculate heart of Mary together in main space in the family home. Mercy comes with justice and expiation stands along side perfect contrition. The entwined hearts of Jesus and Mary provides the necessary balance and depicts God's salvatific mercy and justice. Mercy alone can become confused and expressed in error as we see as false compassion. That is neglecting to instruct the sinner to make personal corrections to their lifestyles as they promote a false mercy that God will accept and love them even if they continue to live in sin. So as Father Taouk expressed mercy comes with expiation and therefore choose the scared heart of Jesus image in favour of the divine mercy image.

Seems the Holy Spirit required your instruction on the divine mercy and modern devotions for the many who need to hear the insight and correction to include expiation in our seeking Gods generous mercy. Excellent Q&A section.
