Am I the only one who's more productive after watching Becky? Unlike most UA-camrs I LOVE when Becky posts when i have a busy day planned, we do stuff "together"
So satisfying seeing the black rhinoceros removed from your living room. What a beautiful difference in the space. It was totally triggering my OCD, lol. A close, supportive and loving family is a blessing beyond anything you could possibly ask for. Baby is going to be so surrounded by love. Stay safe and God bless.
The room looks SO much better without the wall blocking the view and the flow of movement! Good choice!!!! Your family is wonderful, Becky! It's so nice to see family members like that. Thank you for sharing your lives and dreams with us!!!
Lacey is the SUPER-Sister-in-law!! So awesome to have a great family! The WALL IS GONE!!! Wow what a great deal of progress was made! Josh's work is impeccable! God bless y'all!
Becky, I think it’s so amazing that your kids will be able to watch your videos when they are older and see the progression of your lives. I would love to see my parents everyday lives before they had me and our lives when my sis and I were little. Such a treasure!
I can’t wait to see your home after it’s painted and yes it looks wonderful with the wall down. You ladies were really rocking getting the home ready for paint. Thank you for letting us come along with you and Josh remodeling your new home ❣️❤️
Looks so much better without that wall! Please be careful and don't lift that half wall when you take it to the dump. You have to be more careful when carrying that beautiful bundle of joy.
The difference with that wall gone is amazing. It makes you wonder why on earth anyone would ever put it there. That little bit of caulk where the cupboards meet the wall makes it look so much more finished and professional. That was so awesome of your family helping like that.
It did add privacy. Some people don't like to answer the door only to let strangers see everything in their main room. But I like that it is gone. Looks much better.
Oh, you young people... I remember 20 years ago, when we built our home... it's amazing what amount of energy one mange to find in certain important periodes of ones lives, isn't it? Remember to make your hubby rest properly too every now and then, so that he doesn't hit a wall when you've moved in. My husbond more or less collapsed when the house was ready to be lived in. A lot of little bits and bobs never got finished at all, because we had kids and jobs. You say that when you've moved in to the house, you'll finish this or that. Be aware of the possible exhaustion you both will feel when you're settled in your 'forever home'. Good luck with the finishing touches!
I'm sure you already know and are but be super careful with the drywall dust while pregnant! We did some renovations early in my pregnancy and the drywall dust definitely kicked my butt and caused alot of breathing issues for a couple weeks.
Becky, you're such an inspiration! I am 60 (I hate to admit that) and it seems I learn something from you in every video. I didn't even think of sanding the putty as you fill the nail holes! I'm glad you removed the standing wall because it made a huge difference....Love it! ....Remember to take a little time for yourself...🦋
One thing I have done in the past when I removed nails and hooks to paint was put a piece of painters tape so the painter knows where you removed them just so they aren’t missed and it helps them too. Great job! Hugs and love from Texas!
You are such an inspiration! Can I make a suggestion as a (real estate broker, investor and interior designer for 20+ yrs.) Your office, have you considered taking the bottom two cabinets (support for your counter) and moving them up top to fill in that open gap, have Josh build you some bottom supports (like table legs) Take bottom end piece of your desk and use that as a filler piece for the cabinets up top where they meet the wall. The wall looks angled and the cabinets are squared, it would make it visually more appealing. Keep up the good work, y'all are doing great!!!
A good suggestion. Maybe they will come up with a more harmoneous design when they are able to redo the kitchen. Bur removing the white shelving looks so much nicer already.
I appreciate the love you have with your families. It is nice that everyone is pitching in and helping. The love you all have shows through the screen.
You guys are so good at working together. Wishing you all the best in your new home. Can I make a suggestion, please don't drink caffeinated coffee, it is really bad for the babies growing heart and nervous system. There are a lot of drinks and foods pregnant women have to give up having a healthy pregnancy. Just forwarding some healthy advice.
WOW...with a lot of hard work and the help of family you've finished the majority of your home move in prep plan! Congratulations guys. The place looks absolutely amazing; especially with that little 3/4 wall down, but also with all the beautiful trim work you've done. The money you've saved doing all that work yourselves is HUGE. Finish carpenters are not cheap, and with the backlog of building happening these days who knows when you'd have even been able to get one out there to do all that trim work anyway. Honestly, I would wager you saved $6 - $10,000 in labor costs, maybe more. And with no loss of workmanship. Josh has done an outstanding job. The trim is stunning! Can't wait to see it after it's painted...
Our main floor bathroom redo has just been finished; we went down to the studs and had the entire room redone. At the same time I had the finish carpentry crew replace all of the doors on every room throughout the house. We replaced what were obviously builder’s grade hallow core doors with gorgeous solid wood mission style door. Every time I walk down a hallway it just takes my breath away with how lovely that one simple change makes to the whole house. Btw I never realized how expensive good doors are, lol!
You are truly blessed. My family and my x in-laws are takers, not givers. Even before I was married I went to my in-laws home and helped them paint and clean before they moved into the house. Yet when it was time for us to move, neither them nor their children helped us move. And the same thing has happened with my side of the family has well. So to have such a giving family and in-laws is a gift indeed. 🎁
As a former professional painter, my crew and I loved when the owners left the floors with dust and not perfectly clean. That way when we patched holes and sand down the spackling, it help "protects" the floor from any stray drops of paint. After we were done, we would sweep and clean the floors after we finished painting your room.
Omgggosh, where can I order my very own Lacey? You're a blessed woman Becky, but I know you already know that. I can not imagine what the previous owner was thinking when they stuck that half wall in there, your view is stunning!!
Hi Becky and Josh. I'm a new subscriber. Your channel was recommend when I was sick with that Big C. I've been binge watching and loving it. Glad you got that monstrosity of a wall out of the living room. The view is stunning. Unbelievable they blocked that view. I'm glad I found your channel and see all the major new changes in your lives. You got a new friend, a Dutch friend. 🇳🇱 👋🏻❤️
Re: desk area. You might look into magnetic wall paper just on the area between the desktop and the cabinets. to post notes, reminders, etc. We use it in my office space and there's many different colors, styles you can use.
Everything is looking good. What a wonderful difference removing that wall made. I love the openness of your rooms. Standing at the door and seeing all the way to the sunroom is gorgeous. Great job.
The wall being gone is the best transformation! Family is such a blessing. We are currently trying to move closer to most of our kids and grandkids. So we can help them and they can help us. Cross your fingers that the sellers accept our offer!
I just love your channel! I have been battling depression for a few years now, and just recently started subscribing to channels to gain motivation. I honestly have to say I am continuously drawn to yours. I find your content and your attitude very interesting, helpful, and motivating. I absolutely love seeing your family, and how you all interact and help each other out. Just so you know, I call you "Becky with the good hair". I think your hair is beautiful and I am a little envious of how luscious it is, hahaha! Can't wait to see how your projects turn out. Looking forward to some great content.
All the little details seem like such a pain, but they are so worth it when you end up with a clean, beautiful finished product! Looks great and I can't wait to see the newly painted walls! Well done team! 👍
Wow, taking the wall down just opened up everything. Having family near and the fact that they are willing to help without charging you is amazing. Blessed beyond measure. 👍💖🙏🏻
Amazing how we all hated it. I've just been baffled since first glance at why anyone would ever have installed such a monstrosity. Hideous, blocking light, blocks view, breaks up room. How did the previous owners ever live with it?! I would have taken an ax to it in a Miami minute the day it was installed.
Hi Becky 🥰 You and Josh are such an inspiration to get moving and get things done. You are blessed with an amazing family. Wow!! What a difference removing the wall makes. The view is even more amazing. Team work makes the dream work 💖💖💖💖💖
Those painters needing another day at another job that's the good Lord at work making it all work out and watching your family work together you've just got great family on both sides you're very blessed and the wall down looks amazing I'm just so happy for you guys❤
I’m watching this in February 2024 and you and Josh are so fortunate to have family helping you out. I have brothers and a sister but my sister is my rock. My brothers aren’t much help .
Watching Becky’s posts has given me the desire to garden, clean, put things away and just everything that she does. I want to get a dehydrator but I don’t think I’m into getting a freeze dryer. After all I am 63 years old and I think I am beyond that. I wish I could clean as fast as Becky does. Lol. I’m glad she has such a good support system
can't believe that wall was ever put there! Those views into and through that sunroom are such a grand reveal when you walk in. Everytime you bring someone new to the house you are gonna here a gasp when they walk in.
I love that you took the wall down, you now have a gorgeous view and a larger living area! Good call on taking down the corbels and the shelf in your office area. Both areas look great! Josh, you and family did great work! I can't wait to see you decorate.
I feel as though Lacey (if that's how you spell it) would be good at a renovations or self help business!! She's definitely got the right attitude and knack for it!! :-)!!
I can’t believe what a Hugh difference it made taking that wall down! That room looks huge and absolutely beautiful! Love the open space and the view! I’m glad you took down those cubby looking shelves in the kitchen because it did date it. Removing the shelves above the desk area really opened it up a lot. Love all the trim Josh it making and can’t wait to see the finished house. You and Josh are both blessed with wonderful families that are close, helpful and happy to be apart of y’all’s new family adventures. Truly blessed!
Wow! You're gonna hate phase 2 in the door painting, especially if they're being done in oil (which is the proper way of doing it). Don't paint them in latex!! The smell from the oil based paint will give you headaches and sore throats. I would live in your old house and air out the new house for a couple weeks (at least) to dissipate the smell throughout the house....especially being pregnant!! House looking great!!
Hello Becky. What a big difference it made, taking out that hideous wall. The room looks larger, and it flows through without that wall. Your In-laws are wonderful. You are blessed to have them. Can't wait to see the house painted and how you will decorate each room. Tfs and sending Cali love. XOXO
You’re so lucky that Josh’s family was able to help. Don’t tell Lacey, but when she waved hello I waved back. Lol You would have been driven nuts with that shelf above the desk. It would have been right in your face. So much better now. Now to address the elephant in the room, How amazing it is without the half wall.. Best decision ever. Rene’ is so funny when she pretended to come into the house. I just love her. You are so going to enjoy this house.
I love having my family around us. My son married a woman who is very jealous and hard to be around. She knows all and just not a positive person. We enjoy having fun with him. We have both of our moms here and a sister. We enjoy helping our family and friends. Brings us a lot of joy. 😉
Whoohoo! That monstrosity obscuring the view from the foyer was completely removed. Now, I'm anxious to see how the hole in the floor is resolved. Fantastic job thus far!
Becky, the house looks so much better with all the extraneous white shelving removed not to mention the "slab" in the living room! Another great choice was to replace the brushed nickel in the bathroom with chrome. A chrome finish is classic and is never wrong.
Girl. When I was pregnant many moons ago, I was sick all day everyday (which is why i went to the doctor in the first place) until my 8th month. I got a reprieve. But then it hit me again on my 9th month. I also had horrible heartburn. It was so bad I'd throw up. (On top of my nausea). I was told it was because my baby had a lot of hair. Which he did. Full head and body has soft downy hair. (Dad is greek) I'm so glad they have meds now for all this.
Was thinking if u pulled up some of the wooden floor by the front door, put a inflated door matt and then use wood to fill the gap left from the mid wall
It is looking so good! Cant wait to see it all painted, and then decorated. By the way, you are really looking like you are getting thinner. I know you are pregnant, but perhaps with all the extra activity and with you feeding the baby too, do you feel like you are getting smaller and more toned? It sure looks like it at least. New house, new garden, new baby… exciting stuff happening!
The difference in this room after removing the half wall is AMAZING!!! It opens the room and the view out the sunroof window sooo much. Such a great decision. Y'all did great! It's all coming along so beautiful!!! Pam in South Carolina
I know everyone is different, so I mean this most respectfully, but while watching your house remodeling, I tried to picture at which point one thinks "you know what we need? An elaborate wall with electrical wiring that will completely block main entrance...I think it will also obscure that beautiful view quite nicely" Lol. So glad you finally removed it. You could tell how everyone's mood improved immediately. :)
I love watching your videos!! I watched Jess move and Jill too…never thought I’d be in that boat anytime soon but here I am moving as well lol luckily you are too and you’re helping me figure some things out!! I really appreciate it! So grateful for you and so happy for you and your husband and your little one coming!! I was never able to have children but I have a step daughter now that I couldn’t love anymore if she was my flesh and blood!! Thank you again for all that you do! You are amazing 💜💜💜
I admire Becky and her family. They are so energetic and caring of each other.
I was just thinking “man… so other people actually get along with their in-laws like a lot a lot.”
Am I the only one who's more productive after watching Becky? Unlike most UA-camrs I LOVE when Becky posts when i have a busy day planned, we do stuff "together"
No you sure aren't. Im going to can some salsa verde.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
No, I definitely feel more productive after watching Becky!!
Becky has helped motivate me to get out and do my gardening first thing in the am! Thanks! 💕💕
Same here 😂🙋🏼♀️

The room looks SO much better without the wall blocking the view and the flow of movement! Good choice!!!! Your family is wonderful, Becky! It's so nice to see family members like that. Thank you for sharing your lives and dreams with us!!!
Hi Becky,Lacey is such a great help to you. It’s so nice that sister-in-laws get along so well. She is such a life saver.Your mother in law is a angel.
Lacey is the SUPER-Sister-in-law!! So awesome to have a great family! The WALL IS GONE!!! Wow what a great deal of progress was made! Josh's work is impeccable! God bless y'all!
I almost teared up listening to you describe the family support you have. What a beautiful thing to have around you and in your life.
Please wear a mask when sanding especially drywall. The dust is caustic on your lungs.
Becky, I think it’s so amazing that your kids will be able to watch your videos when they are older and see the progression of your lives. I would love to see my parents everyday lives before they had me and our lives when my sis and I were little. Such a treasure!

Looks so much better without that wall! Please be careful and don't lift that half wall when you take it to the dump. You have to be more careful when carrying that beautiful bundle of joy.
The view with the removal of the half wall is Breathtaking & Josh's trim work is Gorgeous!
All I know, after watching Becky, I really want to go do all kinds of things. 🥰
The difference with that wall gone is amazing. It makes you wonder why on earth anyone would ever put it there. That little bit of caulk where the cupboards meet the wall makes it look so much more finished and professional. That was so awesome of your family helping like that.
Feng shui is my guess. Open flow from your front door to your back door is bad luck. All your money will flow out. 🤷♀️
It did add privacy. Some people don't like to answer the door only to let strangers see everything in their main room. But I like that it is gone. Looks much better.

Thanks family for helping Becky and Josh! Love the view after wall is out.
Such a great and supportive family- what a huge blessing for you both💝
Taking the wall down really opened up the space beautifully. Thank you for bringing us along. Love how your family is supporting you and Josh 😍😍
Becky, you're such an inspiration! I am 60 (I hate to admit that) and it seems I learn something from you in every video. I didn't even think of sanding the putty as you fill the nail holes! I’m 68 and feel the same way! Her parents must be extremely proud of her. She is going to be a great mother 👩🏻🍼

I made your apple cinnamon baked oatmeal and wrapped the squares in parchment paper for the freezer and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

Prayers for your niece. I pray that every cell in her body feels the energy of everyone praying for her healing.
Team work makes the dream work - and what a wonderful family you have ♥️❤️ you all worked so hard and I can’t wait to see how the painting goes 💪

Yess! Needed this. Cleaning up my basement food storage and canning shelves right this moment and needed motivation😁
Congratulations to you both on all the exciting things happening!!! 💞👣🏡

YEAH! The wall is gone. It looks great opened up. I’m so excited for the two of you.Take care.♥️
Josh is so comfortable on camera now!
I love the relationship you have with your in-laws , the living room looks so much better without the wall.
You are truly blessed. My family and my x in-laws are takers, not givers. Even before I was married I went to my in-laws home and helped them paint and clean before they moved into the house. Totally worth it to take that wall down. I think many of us felt so satisfied seeing that come down.

Re: desk area. You might look into magnetic wall paper just on the area between the desktop and the cabinets. to post notes, reminders, etc. We use it in my office space and there's many different colors, styles you can use.

That half wall coming out really made a huge difference in that room. So big and open and beautiful 😍
The wall is DOWN! The wall is DOWN! Yay! That is SO much better.
Oh my Stars, that wall removal was so needed, it completely opened up the living area. I can’t wait to see the paint!
Yay!! For demo day!!! Also huge congratulations on new baby on the way!!! - Ashley Sandbank ❤❤❤
I HAVE BEEN DYING TO SEE THIS WALL GO. iT HAS MADE SUCH A DIFFERENCE TO THAT LIVING SPACE. WHAT A GREAT TEAM YOU ARE, WELL DONE EVERYONE.
Everything looks so good. That half wall was driving me nuts. I can imagine how relieved you must feel now that it's out of there.
Amazing how we all hated it. I've just been baffled since first glance at why anyone would ever have installed such a monstrosity. Hideous, blocking light, blocks view, breaks up room. I kept saying, keep the wall, keep the wall. Then you showed what it looked like without the wall and it's gorgeous.
can't believe that wall was ever put there! Those views into and through that sunroom are such a grand reveal when you walk in. Everytime you bring someone new to the house you are gonna here a gasp when they walk in.
Everything's coming together beautifully! Great job Becky
It's unreal how every human in your family is so comfortable and chill in front of the camera, haha
What a wonderful family. The world would be a better place if ALL families worked together like both of yours.
Glad to see that wall come down. You wanted it down for so long. It looks so great without that.
I think by now in real time y'all are moved in already right? I can't wait to see y'all all settled in 😊
Becky, I love your grateful heart, and that you focus on the good aspects that come from curve-balls! You're inspiring!
I love that you took the wall down, you now have a gorgeous view and a larger living area! Good call on taking down the corbels and the shelf in your office area. Both areas look great! Josh, you and family did great work! I can't wait to see you decorate.
Seeing that wall come down was so satisfying, it was definitely the right choice! What a beautiful family, everyone is so loving and supportive

Whoa!!! That 1/2 wall was such an eyesore. It Looks absolutely stunning with that view! Complete transformation. Great decision.
Thank you for all you do and share. You've been a huge inspiration to me!
i can't get over how good it look without the half wall. Best decision ever!!

Congratulatons on getting rid of the half wall. It looks so much better.
Sure does! The was so ugly...
Yay that ugly wall is down! The room is transformed! Your family is wonderful! Can't wait to see it all painted.
You’re so lucky that Josh’s family was able to help. Don’t tell Lacey, but when she waved hello I waved back. Lol You would have been driven nuts with that shelf above the desk. “I just love cleaning with a good toothbrush” - spoken like a great dental hygienist. 🤣
Take it easy Becky
Whoohoo! That monstrosity obscuring the view from the foyer was completely removed. Now, I'm anxious to see how the hole in the floor is resolved. Fantastic job thus far!
I’m excited for Demo day and seeing how your belly grows!! Hope you have an amazing day queen!
Oh my gosh! I'm exhausted just listening to everything you want to accomplish in one day! And I'm not pregnant!
Walking into the house without that gray wall just accentuated the beautiful view! Stunning!
Becky, the house looks so much better with all the extraneous white shelving removed not to mention the "slab" in the living room! Another great choice was to replace the brushed nickel in the bathroom with chrome. A chrome finish is classic and is never wrong.
Removing the wall made such an impact on that room! It will be stunning after it's painted with Josh's beautiful trim. What an exciting week!
Love seeing a family supporting each other
Inlay doormat
Girl….you are something else! Sometimes I get tired just watching you go! 😂 You’re so inspiring!
Such a pretty place! Maybe you could put some decorative tile in that crevice where the wall was removed
I am so glad to see that wall taken down. Such an improvement.
Oh, Becky and Josh, that wall being gone opens that entryway so much. What a view! I love it! God Bless. Love you all! xxoo
I’m glad y’all decided to take down that wall! It makes the room look so big and open
Becky and Josh you are lucky that you have a great group of friends and family that are helping you guys get the house ready to paint.
