You did not include the QCY Crossky c30 open earbuds, I think those are the best overall for their price, also with awesome colour options!

I thought the Tozo's were great, apart from the accidental touches, as you mentioned. I also agree that the sound on the c40i's is very dependent on the positioning. I also found them quite uncomfortable. I would only use this form factor if you can't get on with hook style.

Bought the Soundcore, TOZO and QCY Crosskey C30.
Took back the Soundcore quite quickly. Very uncomfortable. Ears got very sore from wearing them. Had a friend have the same problem. Button is great. Sound wasn’t great. Same issue as one of the reviewers.
I kept the TOZO. The lack of multipoint isn’t great. But I don’t worry about that at my factory job. Get plenty loud and the sound is quite good. Can wear my entire 8 hour shift no problem.
The QCY at $36 are really good. Better like not as good the TOZO. But sound and loudness are comparable. Just as comfortable and have multi point control. I have 2 pair of these. One for work and one for home.

Yeah to me multipoint is an absolute must for a product like this. You're not relying on active noise cancellation and transparency mode so if it doesn't have multipoint it's practically featureless.

This type of earbud wont even offer transparency because of its open ear design. For the same reason ANC isn’t a feature that works with this design

@@Matt-fd9hc So the tozo are better than ur qcy?

I like the controls on the Tozo better. The battery is better on the Tozo.
The QCY are more comfortable. But they both are the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever tried. The QCY have multipoint and the TOZO don’t. Which isn’t terribly important to me but it is quite nice to have multipoint. The sound is comparable between the two. TOZO might be a little better.
You can’t go wrong with either one. The price is so similar that you can’t go wrong with either one

If you have small tiny ears GET THE HUAWEIS! THEY ARE AMAZING! The type of multipoint on the huaweis is the kind I thought multipoint was supposed to be and now I'm mad when any company doesn't do this version and has the nerve to say they have multipoint. Also the amount of times people have asked me if I have a new piercing when I have these on😂 and I have the purple ones! And these are people who got mad because I should have gotten a piercing with them because we have been friends for min 10 years 😂😂.

I have the JLab Flex and Soundcore C30i. The flex looses connection frequently and the equalizer doesn’t effect the sound enough to be satisfactory. The C30i work better for my preferences.

I'm currently looking for an open earbud and my top two choices are huawei freeclips and the nothing ear open. Out of these two options what would you recommend? I will mainly use them in Bed/Sleeping and wearing under a helmet while skiing and biking. Which do you think fits my usecase better?

    • @DHRME
      @DHRME  27 днів тому +2

Kinda confusing cos sleeping may work better with clip style and helmet with a hook style.

Disappointing that mute isnt a standard feature on all earbuds. I have the (purple) freeclips thanks to your videos. This is the best style for around the house, mostly voice, content. Anything that can fall off is asking for trouble. Only problem with all these "true wireless" (where did that term go?) buds is the tiny batteries that wear down to unreliable levels. Very annoying when they die during a call.

I have no idea how the "Wah-Way" pronunciation got popular.
Mandarin never drops the H. It is "Hua-Way". The H is emphasized if anything.

I think these are really going to gain in popularity in the next few years. A good innovation in earbuds. For me I’ll never buy in ear earbuds again. I tried on an old pair I had and as soon as I put it in I gave it 5 seconds and took them out. Knowing I’d never wear that style ever again
