Wonderful to have this! Thank you for sharing your experiences. I am starting my PhD in USN - Drammen, do you have any suggestions, tips or any thoughts you would like to share with me Drammen or USN? And a more technical question, do all PhD employees get an office and laptop etc.? My last question, how do I find the best union for me? Thank youuu tons!
Hi. Congratulations. Yes, all PhDs get their office and laptop. When it comes to union, I personally like Tekna (first 3 years you will get 75% discount on your membership) and you can use after you are finished with your PhD and work elsewhere in Norway. But Tekna is for people with technical field of study. It will give you benefits with car and house loan if you decide to buy one in the future. Other union, I need to investigate more. Will make a video about that in the future.
@@IvannasNorskLife Awesome, I will be looking forward to your video about unions! My field is cultural heritage and curatorial practices, not a technical field! I will check Tekna. I am thinking NAR may be a good choice as well, but I do not know enough. Buying a house is also an interesting topic to learn more about! Thanks dearly, cheers.
Dear Ivanna , thank you so much for your informative vedios .could you please include procedures and steps for writing a research proposal for admission criteria
@@IvannasNorskLife Dear Mam please clarify one common query too in your upcoming vedio ie while applying for more than 4,5 universities at a time we need to prepare different proposals or can we apply with the same proposal we prepared against the various projects advertised???
Thank you very much for coming online I don't know what to say good morning good afternoon good evening please I need your help I want to know how can a refugee migrate to Norway please I want to come to know where I need to help
Hi Ivana, I'm Ratheesh from India and I hv completed my masters in Biotechnology in 2015 .I do have a 4yrs of working experience. Is there any chance to do phd in Sweden? Can u pls explain me about this
I have one question in most of the job add in employment requirements section they always ask for MSC in education even if the research area is related to management subject.. So I want to know are they considering all master degree as MSc... As I have done M. B. A... In most of the case they ask for MSc in education for management course... Am I eligible as I have done master in business management???
Thank you for the video. My question is ....is it really compulsory to submit bank statement/proof of fund during application? 2. Are there any available ( stipend) scholarships for international students for masters
1. If you don't have scholarship, yes it is compulsory to submit bank statement. 2. There are exchanges scholarships (university agreements), but you need to be a student at university and check your university has agreement with any Norwegian university
I am from India. I m also applying in Norway for PhD. Norway is my first choice for PhD. I belong to middle class family so i need funding or scholarship for PhD ☺.. A big thanks for your videos... I am hoping something good for me near future for PhD☺☺
PhD is a job in Norway, so you don’t need any scholarship or funding for that. Just apply for available positions and good luck with rest of the process.
Thank you my wife is doing PhD in management from Pakistan she has completed course work can we get exeption of duration ??should we refer on going PhD or not?? Looking for early response and further guideline
I would recommend to be honest. It makes life easier in long run. Just prepare a good explanation why you don't want to complete your PhD in Pakistan. You could also check whether your university has any agreements with Norwegian university to get into some exchange program, for instance. Or finish your PhD in Pakistan and search for Associate professor position at Norwegian university.
Sure thank you very much for your precious time and advice actually it takes much time to complete from here and from country like Norway the quality of education is very good stipend and other benefits would that stipend be good enough ?to sport 2 kids and 2 adults and at the same time I will also do job, the explanation that I told you is good enough your kind advice is required
@@AsifRaza-ks4zm I would say highly important. Most of the management positions require good writing and communication in Norwegian, but start-ups may be considered instead. There is higher chance of getting English-based position at some start-up.
@@nguyettoleanh9288 First of all, majority of the PhD do not require Norwegian, and those who do require you to know Norwegian could be in medical field or if you will be working with industry (where Norwegian is main language). Some of our PhDs help with bachelors as well, it just wasn’t me. So read carefully description of the position before applying. All information you need, will be presented there.
