      I would suggest to look some universities in Germany or UK as your subject is more popular there.

    I have a question: "Applicants from universities outside of Norway are requested to send a diploma supplement (or a similar document) which describes in detail the study and grading system, and the rights for further studies associated with the obtained degree." What's that mean and how can I do it can you please give me some advice to prepare it. My bachelor's and Master's degrees are from different countries.

    • @fastepo
      @fastepo  4 роки тому

      I try to clarify that with an example: in Germany grading system is as follows: 1.0 is the top mark and 5 is fail. But in france, 20 is the top mark. That means, if somebody receive a degree from Germany or France, he/she will have a completely different mark even if the marks level are equal.
      The “diploma supplement” is a document which is issued by the University where you receive your degree from and describe the marking system of that university. In addition, It generally contains some information about the degree. For instance a Diplom degree in Germany is equivalent to MSc.
      Hope that makes sense.

    Sir. I am currently doing MTech in IT . I would like to do my PhD there in Norway.What are exams I need to appear to get selected? I heard IELTS or TOFYL is mandatory. Secondly, which students are most likely to get selected? Also do we need to have work experience to get selected in PhD programme?

    • @fastepo
      @fastepo  4 роки тому +1

      There is no general rule for selection as the selection is based on competition. That means your case will be compared to other applicants.
      Apparently the good track records (high GPA) are expected. Good English proficiency is essential but not critical in selection process.
      In short, if you have got good grades in your undergraduate studies, your chance can be very high.
      Hope this information helps!
