It's all fun and games until a man gets falsely accused and then it destroys his entire life even when/if he gets proven innocent.
I don't think anyone going public with a sexual assault allegation would consider their situation "fun and games"... but "proven innocent" and "found not guilty" are not the same thing - given the limitations of the justice system, cases against guilty people fall apart all the time, and this is pretty much why 'Me Too' became a thing in the first place.
Any particular case you're referring to, when someone 'Me-Too'd' was *proven* innocent (i.e. with a solid alibi or whatever)?

I have a slight quibble with MS. Burke's mention, of Gayle King's bringing up the sexual abuse allegations against Kobe Bryant. It was right after his death, his child's death, and the death of others on that chopper. I don't like the horrible things said about Ms. King, but I don't think what she did was proper in that moment and context, either.
