The music is from Diamond Style Beats called "Cruel Intentions". He would be capable to come up with this and produce it, that's for sure, but not on this track, which he even left pretty much untouched but for his various vocal layers.

The last bit was very much Indian/Bhangra influenced. That fusion was fucking brilliant. And the chorus - the way it built and built so dramatically ! And Ren's singing voice on the high notes ! Are you kidding me ? Who else could do this ? And once you find them, if you ever do, get them to rap like on The Hunger or Losing It. Ren is a fucking beast. Genuinely incredible !

Ren said on Twitch after his premiere that he wanted to do some full on metal at some point. I'm sure he has a million ideas whirling around in that big brain of his!

To start at the beginning and to come to this is… hard to describe.
I have my absolute favourites from years ago but this one SMACKS AND RIPS. It’s a human being laying it all out there without fear… stripping off the layers of the id, the ego and adding subtracting, multiplying and dividing layers of sound, music genres, styles visuals - graphics vocals with such precision to make the Ren poetry stand up in front.
This is me so freaked at this piece of highly personal art. His peeps have helped him to put a recipe together that is deceptively simple, but freakish in its complexities. The final product is astounding to me. I devour it.

This is so good on so many levels but I'm with you Fisch, I want Ren to experiment with some hard rock music too. If the last segment was anything to go by, it would sound awesome and as we know from The Big Push, his voice lends itself to that style really well ❤.
He said in a live stream that he is going "back to his roots" for the next album (that he is already working on!)
@@esmepoms It's hard to know what his roots are when he covers so many genres 😉. Guitar based I get, but even in The Big Push he did punk, metal, reggae, pop and so on.

Also I love all the little bits of reoccurring lyrics throughout these songs. It’s like everything is connected in a Reniverse tapestry and I can’t wait to hear how the entire album works together. Clever, creative, and so authentic 🐰🕳️

It actually sounds as if you haven't heard much of Ren's catalogue, if you're surprised by a rock sound or amazing vocals. I saw you on his Twitch stream, so I'm surprised. Try "Crucify Your Culture" for more of a rock vibe. As for Ren's voice. Just find anything on which he sings. He'll sound amazing and will do so in a seemingly endless array of different voices, styles and tones! :)

To me those look like clozapine tablets, which have the half line on one side and the code 345 on the other. Clozapine is an antipsychotic, often used to treat schizophrenia and suicidal behaviors.

Ren decided to make a hip hop record just for fun it's not even his genre and he is absolutely smashing it! If you like the more rocky stuff he has already written most of the tracks for his rock album which at the rate this dude is working at we will probably see some time next year! This track is Rens journey to find the cure for his illness ..his loss of faith with his God ..he is high on medication even mixing concoctions of drugs and alcohol to numb the pain he suffers daily ..the ending visuals and distorted sounds referencing taking the pill and hearing the lyrics ...Could you be the one ? The lyrics ..I lift up my eyes to the hills is referring to the cult horror movie The hills have eyes basically saying his life is a living hell and his sword and his shield is his protector against it . ..very clever writing ..nice reaction
Interesting. That certainly fits in context and with the visuals. I had assumed that it was quoting Psalm 121 and using it as a complaint against God for unanswered prayer and feeling alone in his suffering. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe it's intentionally a double. I know he loves horror movies. I didn't pick up on the reference because I'm such a wimp and can't cope with horror 😂

Actually, Ren didn't make this beat. It is a track called Cruel Intentions by Diamond style. He seems to have made some modifications for his own purposes. Still a 🔥track, one of my favourites of his because of both the lyrics and the hook.
