I was in The Joe when the Wings finally won the Cup in 1997. There is NO feeling like it in the World. I still shed tears, man. FWIW, I was pulling for you guys, big time. Glad you got one.
I went to my first blues game in 91-92. I never thought I would see the day. Now every once in awhile I go back and watch these videos and they still make me cry every time.
March 1, 2024. Blues fan since 1968. At age 70, I’m still watching this in utter delight!!!! As the wise and erudite philosopher, Brett Hull so poetically said, “WE WENT BLUES!!!!!” 😂. LGB!
Blues fan since beginning here in Rochester NY. First hockey hero Gary Unger then Liut between the pipes. Now 63 years old hope to see 1 more. Also a Cardinals fan even longer
As a kid cujo and hull were two of my favorite players. I was a wolves season ticket holder once the blues became an affiliate. Im a flyers fan first but man was stoked as hell for the blues and you fans. You deserved it and it made the hawks fans so salty. Gotta love it
Let's not forget the St. Louis Cardinals opened Busch Stadium to accommodate the overflow from the Arena to broadcast this game on the big screen. No matter what Kronke says, St. Louis IS the best sports town in the United States!
Why am I Watching this 2 years after it happened? (Technically 3 because it’s almost 2022) Congrats Blues and Blues Fans, Apparently (according to comments) you waited 52 years! That’s a long time for a Stanley cup… Once again, Congrats
Since game 7 was in Boston they let the Blues fans watch the game in the Blues arena in St Louis and at Bush Stadium (the Cardinals baseball stadium) as well! They played it on the big screen there also! The whole city was downtown and in the streets... like nothing the city has ever seen before, it was INSANE!
The biggest moment was hearing “Gloria” play for the 16th time of the playoff and the sweetness of knowing the Blues finally did it!
I live in St. Louis and I will never forget this. Bear in mind there were 20,000 people down the street at Busch Stadium doing the same thing.
And 1500 or more at the Ballpark Village as well
Still can’t believe we won the cup, brings tears to my eyes. How magical it was
All pre COVID. Miss those times

I'm from Owen Sound Ontario and I remember when Binnington help the Owen Sound Attack win the OHL Championship in 2011.

As magical as that ride was and how it could truly be made into a movie. I sure as hell wish we had finished the series in STL for game 6.
