This might be the best summary of the individual enneagram types I’ve found so far. Thank you!

Please consider a new title. I’ve been studying the enneagram intensely for over a year, so I get the title. But someone new to the enneagram might think it something to avoid? Just a thought from a 9 perspective.

It definitely is something to avoid. A useless waste and distraction for navel-gazers.

Interesting - I’m new to them but want to learn, struggling reading about it so turned to You Tube. Thought ‘Ted talks’ are reliable. Saw the title and thought it was a debunking video lol. I looked at replies before bailing!

It's a good way for trying to understand how is important to go beyond our Ego and finding our Essence, through the Enneagram.

As a four wing five I’ve been studying for over five years and it’s the only thing that’s helped me better understand the world

We're the whole egramm but then present us with one special type with wings...All is integrative but also show up in desintegration lines...on different levels...Just a great tool to work with..;without any blabla or esotheric self- storytelling knittings...😁😉😏🤭 justamente clear ..

What's written about the 9-Gram is sometimes fact & other times fiction. Some writing about the 9-Gram contains Knowledge or Understanding or wisdom & some doesn't.

Chris is seriously adding to the historicity of the enneagram (prehistoric Korea? "The Odyssey"?) and glossing over relevant facts in the actual history. The enneagram was _first drawn_ as a sort of "mystical map of the world" in 1916, the "overcoming ego" elements were added in the 1960s, and the nine "types" were added in the 1970s by a man who said he received them via automatic writing (a type of spirit contact where you invite a spirit to use you, and the spirit is supposed to take control of your hand and make you write what _they_ want to say).
It is occult in its origins, it is not ancient, it is not a wisdom tradition, and it does not have any psychometric validity. The symbol itself rejects the Christian worldview that God is the creator of everything, as it maps God _inside_ the cosmos.
It's troubling see an Abeliene Christian talk from 2022 promote a practice that the Jesuits has outed as misleading and completely inappropriate for Christians _more than 30 years ago._

Those Jesuits, if alive in 2023, have learned 30 years of their mistakes. One hopes they now know why they failed to see knowledge of the 9-Gram causes knowledge of the obvious, namely, to do the right thing (or to act upon correct desires), keep ALL 10 Commandments. - 02:39hrs EDST , 23OCT1989 Easy to observe, 34 years ago.

I think most any novelty couched in Eastern mysticism is more interesting than Christ and His way to post-Christians like Heuertz.
