Have you heard the song she did for Sparkle (which she was going to star in)? “Giving Up”. She is BELTING. It’s her best vocally. The single/video version of “The One I Gave My Heart To” is great vocally as well. From the self-titled/last studio album, I’d argue that “I Refuse”, “What If?”, and I Can Be” are better vocally than “I Care 4 U” (which I would put next to “Come Over (Featuring Tank)”, vocally. I think the similarities between those two are why “I Care 4 U” was chosen for the album over “Come Over”.
This is technically her 2nd posthumous album. The first one was “I Care 4 U” That had her greatest hits and 5 new songs that were actually completed songs. I liked this song, but I’m starting to love it. I agree about her vocals, but it’s still a beautiful song.
@@Thedownwardmineon I see no point. The fans finally get new music, Aaliyah is getting writing credit so her estate benefits from it and her legacy is no longer on crushes. IMO
Horrible horrible horrible. Blackground is looking for more money and I don't believe in anything that they are releasing as authentic, so maybe don't react to anymore Aaliyah stuff since I'm one of her biggest fans and it will be an automatic downvote. DO NOT TRUST HER ESTATE
You need to react to aaliyah "the one I gave my heart too" and "I care for you" because they are both her best vocal performances.
And Journey To The Past 😌

3rd posthumous album after "Ultimate Aaliyah"
I'm boycotting this entire "project"- everything about it seems shady.

@@Tylan0l There’s no new music on it, but technically you’re right.
@@SirJamieokeith I agree it was only last year we were giving up hope on aaliyah legacy without her music thankfully we're here.
They Uploaded the wrong version to UA-cam They have a much clearer version On iTunes where her voice sounds clear
i love the song too,RnB has evolved over the years hence the voice 9/10
You need to do enough said, it’s one of my favorites.

Don't know anything about the situation with her estate, but my first reaction hearing this was "it doesn't sound like her"... it's just very odd 🤔
