I want to thank you for showing me / us around the town. I am American and live in Northern Oregon 🎄 I can’t tell how how grateful I am for you being brave, smiling, and passing on information pertaining to Tullamore!! Slainte 🍻
Thanks for the nice down to earth informative video. Went to Ireland to buy a home in October 24. Traveled all over, and found my dream home in Tullamore. We fell in love with the place, and hope to move in January 25. Merry Christmas and Best for New year to you and your family. Again Thanks
my grandfather was born in tullamore sometime in the 1880's. he came over to the US on a boat from county mayo. his name was anthony coyne he lived to be 99 years old & died in cleveland ohio. he was married to mamie coyne. her maiden name was irwin. they were the parents of my favorite person of all time, my mom.
Tullamore loved great Don with all of the eateries and pubs, I loved the walk around the streets and nice that it's so clean there. The church you went into was so beautiful but it was so sad to hear about Ashling Murray and also Fiona . Thanks for the lovely tour : ) ~ Anna
Nice tour of another lovely town. Your signature sunny hat warmed up the place😊. Pubs and restaurants…okay, but I would probably be browsing in the Mother Earth store 😂
thanks for the vid.. brought back memories back in 2004 i did my adaptation training at midland regional hospital tullamore.. wish i could visit someday beautiful town
@donstravelsandrants. you were quick to spot something up with the interior of the chruch. Burnt down Halloween night by a gang in 82. You missed the court house, one of 3 or 4 around the country. Like waterford Court house.and you mentioned the many pubs.well don the quality of pints is unreal and craic good too
Don i still live in Tullamore for half the week. Still nothing to do here. You have to travel hours in summer to do anything with the kids. We got a new hospital but no maternity. There is no kids born in Offaly. I just feel the midland are forgotten
What are you on about? There’s a park with kids playground and skate park, swimming pool/leisure centre, canal walks, Jumping Jacks and Cosmic Bowling centre, multi-screen cinema, two different ice cream parlours, not to mention the various sports and martial arts clubs!
@@janettedavis6627 sorry my head has been living in Tullamore for over 30 years. There was development in the town when I met hear but just look at some of the streets with shops that haven’t had tenants in years. Old Texas/ Tesco derelict for years. I travel to Dublin on train every week and 90% of peak day “ Tullamore has really lost its place as main town in the midlands. It’s great to be loyal to the town but come on
What about people living in tents in Kilbride park. Lovely town park I agree except for the drugs. There is no shopping in Tullamore it’s fine to do a quick video but Christmas, birthdays you need to go to another town. Try a video on Wexford town. Lots of independent shops on a lovely Main Street. But also the big stores. Why has Tullamore never had a Penny’s or Smiths or Ken Blacks. I wonder
Hello Elizabeth. Drugs are unfortunately in every city, town, and village in Ireland. If I thought Tullamore was a kip, I would have no problem in saying so. I have been to Wexford, you can check out that video on my channel.👍😊
@@tyronepower6521seen a house for sale in that estate today , I am thinking of bidding on it with the hope of moving , Is it a peaceful enough area? Regards
