Hello enjoy watching this, so many familiar names mentioned, all names I grew up around in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, in an Irish neighborhood called greenfield, as well many of my own family names you also mentioned …My father Jack OConnor, his father was born in Ireland but his father emigrated to America in 1870s name was Patrick OConnor came out of Cavan, and in my mothers side Conroy’s were from around Galway /Sligo …the names of my great great grands were Milton/ Marren /Armstrong/Dunne/Hart/McClusky/Murtha/Haney/Campbell/Baker/Kane/Roberts/Feely/Gallagher/Morris/Austen….
Great stuff. There is scope for similar assembly of old photos from every town and parish and to try to identify the people, but unfortunately there were not enough Al Conroys and Tommy Harrises around
Fantastic to see and hear about. I especially loved the picture of my brother Clem Mc Morris (r.i.p) with Bishop Smyth a photograph that I have never seen.
Great work guys , thanks
