This just goes to show how many people don't watch all of the Calvin videos before crying "he was so starved" or say stupid things like "of course he was aggressive, he was starving he had to be" when they're obviously too dumb to realize that if he were actually "starved" he wouldn't have had even half the amount of energy he had to throw tantrums all day long. So he had plenty of energy, because he was fed constantly and when he wasn't being fed he was stealing milk he wasn't supposed to have. I've never seen a "starved" mammal be so active. Calvin was never starving. He wasn't actually starving until Chico had gotten ahold of him and Cassie had rejected him completely. That's when Calvin got to find out what true starvation and thirst are. He wanted to always act like he was so hungry and thirsty and never had enough, so in the end the universe showed him what it actually feels like to be hungry, thirsty and to not have enough. Calvin must smell really bad to them. In the beginning of the video, the baby monkey jerked from his smell, then the other mother smelled and jerked back. The same monkey smelled Celine and everything was fine with her. In this video Calvin nursed a lot, Celine did a lot of walking.
Calvin emptied both teats in this one video alone. He started off on the left side draining that one and by 6:40, he's draining the right side leaving nothing for Celine. At about 6:30 Celine tries to take a sip from the right side and there's nothing there, as Calvin looks at her with delight. But the little leach was so starved, right? Cassie knew what he was doing and allowed the disgusting leach to guzzle down ALL her daughters sustenance. She makes me so mad.

Кальвин в этот момент испытал верх блаженства и радость. Его кормят, он прижимается груди, Селин не может попасть на грудь, Каси ее не пускает, носит и защищает его. А потом я вспоминаю вечер 29 апреля. Кальвин разрывался плачем и мольбой о помощи, но все самки среагировали на него так как Каси среагировала в этом видео на Селин. Для Кальвина это был жуткий вечер. Остаться, наедине с Чико без молока. Без Каси. И такой же довольный он был в этом видео. Хорошего дня 🍀

Even though some mothers in a troop COULD be related if they were born under the same alpha, there's no evidence Casi is Calvin's aunt. Calvin is Christy's offspring, who's not Casi's sister and he doesn't smell like Casi which is why she uses scent to easily differentiate between Celine and Calvin. Chico is Calvin's aunt which is a good indication as to why she's always been obsessed with him. Casi on the other hand, is not. Even aunts don't typically allow their sister's offspring to nurse and it appears Casi only nursed him to keep him alive for his mother, who she continuously left him on the ground and in trees to scream for. Casi never intended on keeping Calvin indefinitely, which is evidenced by her constant leaving of him to cry for his bio mom. It seems Casi was unaware he was rejected and believed his mother would come for him. Once she realized his bio mom was never coming and he continued to become more and more aggressive, demanding and violent towards both Casi and Celine, she decided to abandon him herself choosing her own baby's life over his, as she should have.

This is a crazy video! I think that Casi might've felt bad for letting Calvin get knocked off the wall, at the beginning, because he spends almost the rest of the entire video in the milk bar! By himself! Casi has Celine walking along beside her, and hanging off her back, but Calvin nurses for the rest of the video! So much for "never fed him" with evidence to the contrary.

Actually, they are not as hungry as people assume they are. These little rats are born gluttons, no matter how much they get, they want more and more, till mom is dry. Then they chew, bite and pull on her nipples and throw tantrums when there's no milk, that's why moms will start limiting the feedings, they have to, I mean a full size dairy farm would have trouble supplying milk for these greedy pigs.

That was Celine walking around. That lazy @$$hole Calvin never walked. He was stuck to Casi's chest glutting himself on Celine's milk while Celine herself is following her mother and developing her walking skills. Celine was developing just a macaque infant should but Calvin only tried to walk when he was with Chiko.
Well bottom line is Calvin is dead because Cassie wouldn't feed him everytime he tried she would push him away. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.
Actual bottom line is Casi did feed him but could only support two for a 2 week period and then she was forced to pick one and that is what she did. Don't be surprised, it was milk that help him live as long as he did and it was long hours being babysat by Cheko and dehydration that ended it for him. Cranky, crabby Casi really did try to help him. She pushed him away only because he was suppose to wait his turn which he never wanted to do. The human beings who recorded his demise where always capable of saving him. They chose not to.

Been trying to tell these dingdongs that CASI fed him Alot! I really don't think she had the ability to feed bother babies! CASI was always going to ensure Celines survival! So casi would stop Calvin and he would get mad .to point whete casi had enough of him and let that younger monkey take off with Calvin unfortunately that young monkey wouldn't let Calvin eat anything Calvin became dehydrated starved to death

Как ни странно, но для жизни ему нужна была Каси. Прочие самки отряда отнеслись к Кальвину мягко выражаясь не ласково. Увы, среди макак детеныши лишенные матери, а тем более молочные сосунки за редким исключением, постигает судьба Кальвина. А спасать животных, которые являются вредителями в местах проживания. Это все равно что спасать новорожденного крысенка. А потом удивляться "Чего это чумных крыс и куда люди делись из Европы". Или представьте вы засеяли поле, рассчитав сколько вам потребуется снять урожая, чтобы не голодать семьёй. В один день часть урожая украдены макаками. Они еще скалиться на вас. So he had plenty of energy, because he was fed constantly and when he wasn't being fed he was stealing milk he wasn't supposed to have. I've never seen a "starved" mammal be so active. Calvin was never starving. He wasn't actually starving until Chico had gotten ahold of him and Cassie had rejected him completely. That's when Calvin got to find out what true starvation and thirst are. He wanted to always act like he was so hungry and thirsty and never had enough, so in the end the universe showed him what it actually feels like to be hungry, thirsty and to not have enough. Serves the greedy little reject right!

А потом я вспоминаю вечер 29 апреля. Кальвин разрывался плачем и мольбой о помощи, но все самки среагировали на него так как Каси среагировала в этом видео на Селин.

Even aunts don't typically allow their sister's offspring to nurse and it appears Casi only nursed him to keep him alive for his mother, who she continuously left him on the ground and in trees to scream for. Casi never intended on keeping Calvin indefinitely, which is evidenced by her constant leaving of him to cry for his bio mom. It seems Casi was unaware he was rejected and believed his mother would come for him. Once she realized his bio mom was never coming and he continued to become more and more aggressive, demanding and violent towards both Casi and Celine, she decided to abandon him herself choosing her own baby's life over his, as she should have.

Well bottom line is Calvin is dead because Cassie wouldn't feed him everytime he tried she would push him away. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.
Actual bottom line is Casi did feed him but could only support two for a 2 week period and then she was forced to pick one and that is what she did. Don't be surprised, it was milk that help him live as long as he did and it was long hours being babysat by Cheko and dehydration that ended it for him. Cranky, crabby Casi really did try to help him. She pushed him away only because he was suppose to wait his turn which he never wanted to do.

Casi hung on to Calvin for pretty long time. she also gave him milk but he wouldn't want to stop drinking Calvin wanted to suckle none stop .casi knew she needed to make sure her baby would have enough milk . So casi would stop Calvin and he would get mad .to point whete casi had enough of him and let that younger monkey take off with Calvin unfortunately that young monkey wouldn't let Calvin eat anything Calvin became dehydrated starved to death
Casi was NEVER his mother. Never was. She didn't have to care for him even for the short time that she did.

CASI was protecting him .... She just didn't know what to do with him! These mothers very rarely feed another monkeys baby, very rarely! CASI did feed Calvin but her ability to feed 2 baby's was a problem! Her Instinct to ensure Celines survival was first and foremost as it should have been!
@annacolleen Casi is alpha. I think he would have been way better off being left behind. She doesn't feed him and she's always tossing him around or beating him. If she's "protecting" him which I don't believe she is than he'd be a lot better off with kidnappers over her.

1.есть много аидео где Кальвин двигает губами, ссовершая сомательные движения.
2.талия и внешний вид Кальвина, его какашки. Свидетельствуют о получении им молока.
3. Из 2 посмотрите при Каси, какой у него ухоженнвй вид. И с Чико каким он стал. Будто Кальвиным молочные бутылки мыли.
Каси его не била в всшем понимании, а требовала послушания и выполнение уроков для выживания. Кто виноват, отказывался следовать им? Или вы считаете Каси должна была полностью пренебречь дочерью, чтобы брошенный детеныш смог выжить? Ибо Кальвин было хорошо и он хотел остаться единственным детенышем. Ведь будучи одтн на груди и выптвая молоко, он не устраивал истерики и не кричал.
Разберем термин, который вы употребили "сделка"
Под сделкой юридически имеется ввиду права и обязанности сторон. Каждая из которых обязуется исполнять их. Ранее я расписывала в чем заключается эти юридические стороны между самкой и детенышем. Так вот, Кальвин решил взять на себя права, но не обязанности (послушание и развитие), а Каси не стала пренебрегать правами (отказ от детеныша)
Вы думаете альтернативой Каси у него была жизнь? Нет.
Как ни странно, но для жизни ему нужна была Каси. Прочие самки отряда отнеслись к Кальвину мягко выражаясь не ласково.
Увы, среди макак детеныши лишенные матери, а тем более молочные сосунки за редким исключением, постигает судьба Кальвина. А спасать животных, которые являются вредителями в местах проживания. Это все равно что спасать новорожденного крысенка. А потом удивляться "Чего это чумных крыс и куда люди делись из Европы".
Или представьте вы засеяли поле, рассчитав сколько вам потребуется снять урожая, чтобы не голодать семьёй. В один день часть урожая украдены макаками. Они еще скалиться на вас. Ведь вы прогоняете их с кормовой территории.
Видите, это не милые создания. И Кальвин и Селин и Каси одни из представителей вида, несущие неприятности местным жителям.
Это не люди решили. А природа и отряд. В комментариях фикструется констатация факта и взгляды сторон на произошедшее.
