this one used to be my all time favorite by Sina, but now my favorite is her cover of La Grange. The power drumming and double footwork in La Grange is AMAZING !!!

I fly planes for a living, but if was in a rock band I would want to be a drummer. Why? Because they make such cool sounds and because I really, REALLY admire their talent in terms of all the eye, hand and foot coordination. Sina, you are BEYOND "amazing".

Miss Sina, Wow!!! I have been waiting for this one. I loved it. It may not have been exciting for you to play but it sure was exciting to watch you play it. I have always loved that song by Z Z Top. Now, some people may try to get into the mechanics of how the song sounds with you playing on drums but to me it sounded pretty much like the original. I've had the album since its release in 1983 and listen to it many many times. Maybe some of your critics should give it a try if they didn't like the way you played. I'm sure you made Frank Beard smile. :):)

that's where I got my music for mother worked as a equipment manager for a band from the memory years that's why I chose for sound engineer light shows the whole nine yards but that was back in the 60s
So I am at Soundworks in New York City today, I tried my best to play like Sina. The dudes I was with says, Sina kicks your butt. Yes, the young woman keeps time like a Swiss watch and has fluid fills. At the end of the day, it is all good. Tomorrow the sun will rise in New York, and once again I shall work on my best to keep time and also practice fluid fills. Hat is off to young drumming virtuoso Miss Sina. Bravissimo!

Sina asked us to vote on a song (band) to cover. We picked one of the most simple band's to see in concert. And one of the least challenging drummers for her to cover. And then fuss because the video is simple, repetitive in nature? Sorry boys and girls. After watching Sina grow and develop her talent the last year, give her something to show off these talents. Blue Oyster Cult The Reaper, or a Journey song. Sina you did a great cover of this song. 😉 Just didn't have much to work with. That was and still is ZZ Top style of music. Great Texas band who let the words and music do it all.

I was curious to see what it would sound like if you took on one of those programmed-drums rock songs from the 80s, when Linn Drums were the thing that every band did: ZZTop from this time was exactly what I was thinking of, so it's awesome that you had one of their big hits from this era up. I like Frank Beard's playing, though he's always been a bit understated. I thought those machine drums were an atrocity perpetrated on rock music! Frank's playing has always had swing and soul, and ZZTop records without him were definitely lesser for it. Thanks for putting the soul back in. :)
