Heya Rio Grande, Have you noticed how many questions this video inspired? How many people are wondering What? How? Why? Maybe you need Mark to do this one, he is thorough. Or, is the real video on this that you made available to view? This seems like an intro, where is the rest of the info? Thanks. (like, what metal on the burner? Burnishers? Etc.) Is this the video that goes with this product?
I've never been disappointed by your videos before. This is hardly "Get a step-by-step demonstration of keum-boo and learn how to successfully apply gold foil to your silver jewelry designs."
How do you get the burnisher marks off of the silver? Is the silver treated with something first? How hot? This video created more questions than it answered for me.
Isn’t part of the technique actually showing how to remove all the scratches on the metal after? How safe is sanding, polishing... etc etc? How to get rid of the streaks on the gold? Come on Rio??
Switch burnishers? Oh dear, Rio! Do you have an editor? You are so wonderful but too often you make videos with no explanation of some of what is said, and that is, perhaps... a teeny bit sloppy (hate to say it, sorry?) Yes!!! Please be kind and conscientious of your viewers/customers and THINK about what you say (in these videos) that isn't backed up with answers/explanations. I'm sure somebody is paid to do it right, eeks, I hope? If you need help, I volunteer! I'm great with copy-editing and good fact-checking, etc. So: which agate burnishers do we need for this process (you sell 3 agate burnishers)? Which is best for what part of the doing? If you're going to make a basic video, give the basic info completely, please! And... THANK YOU .... sooo much!

Hi Dianne - We appreciate this feedback. We're sorry this wasn't helpful and will definitely take that into consideration for our future content!
You didn't say anything about heat temperature on any of the devices. And how do you know its fused?

Really bad video, which is unusual for Rio
My thoughts exactly watching all of the scratches happen.
No article linked in description... ?

Teacher, what is this temperature?
Hi there - Fusing takes place around 900 degrees.
@@RioGrande1944 Thank you, Chinese students like you.
Is it possible to use adible 24k gold leaf?
Unfortunately, gold leaf is not thick enough for the keum boo process. It would have to be the thickness of gold foil.
How do you fuse it? Burnishing wont fuse it.
The hotplate
Thanks for sharing
