Davey - Wonderful job on one of my favorite songs! Your silky voice and graceful guitar playing give the song such a lovely and tender character that I had never contemplated before. Amazing how music keeps recreating itself! Thanks for sharing your gift!!
Good job mate..I just hopped on your video because i am about to put this tune in my set..I have If I needed You down..I met Townes in 1978 0r so..I was an owner operator with two partners in the Belly up Tavern located Solana beach Ca..North San Diego county...I was the musician so I had a knack for hiring people that were not well known..I hired Townes Van Zandt and Ramblin Jack Elliott...Later on I was turned on to Steve Earle..Things have never been the same...I do Poncho and Lefty.... Goodbye....Guitar Towne and am now adding "Sometimes she Forgets"..You do a good job on this tune..The viewer can pick up that you enjoying yourself...great Job...Merry Christmas, Randy Godfrey If you google Belly up Tavern and my name you should be able read a few artcles on Belly up Tavern......
