The historic KLRU Studio 6A, home to 36 years of ACL concerts, has been designated an official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark. In 2011, ACL moved to the new venue ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL received a rare institutional Peabody Award for excellence and outstanding achievement in 2012.

Without a doubt the greatest band on the planet right now
Exacto.
Lol these exclamations just show that you dont understand how music works at all :D
I totally agree. I'm 69yrs old and I've had a lot of favourite bands through the years. My previous had been Arcade Fire since 2004. My daughter introduced TWOD to me 10yrs ago and since then I play them almost every day. Mind you, I still consider Arcade Fire's Funeral to be the best album ever. They created a new genre with Funeral.

😊😊😊
2:55 Eliza's happiness is so contagious
OK, we all like the girl player.
This song is so impeccably arranged. Every passage adds its own qualities, and transitions smoothly into the next, creating a seamless whole. It’s like a movie where every scene works perfectly and is an integral part of the narrative.
that is the genius of Adam Granduciel my friend!!
This is the band at the peak of their powers - a bunch of individually accomplished musicians coming together to create such powerful music. Thank you Adam & Co!
Love ing 111 this band
Very right.
Was this the last song of the Austin City limits? I think I caught it and I love it.
Once again Harmonia’s Dream is an absolute epic piece of music! This is probably the best live version yet. I just love what Eliza has brought to this group.
>this is is the band at the peak of their powers
I don't think we've seen (or heard) anything yet.
Eliza's smile and energy captures what it's like watching TWOD perform this song. Happiest and most tearful concert moment in my life.
Totally agree, she has a wonderful stage presence indeed! Love her smile…..and her voice!
I saw them in 2018 and I felt connected and in love with everyone around me. It was almost like being on ecstasy. I'm not a super emotional or gushy person normally but my eyes fill up thinking of that evening.
Loving the addition of Eliza Hardy Jones and very excited to see what the new lineup creates moving forward!
Each member of this Band takes their craft very seriously. Fantastic Band.
💯
Damn, props to their roadies and techs. What a massive and complicated setup!
Check out their rig videos. Talk about complex.
I was watching TV last night and saw them on Austin City Limits and was completely blown away by the big sound and spectacular sound production. I have never heard of this band before and now I’m a huge fan. Other than Pink Floyd, I have never heard such beautiful musical sounds. I can’t stop listening.
you need to see them live. they'll melt your face. top five live band for me.
Welcome to the club!
I've watched this video too many times to count and I always get chills when Eliza Hardy Jones syncs up her vocal fill on the keyboard.
what a tremendous addition she has been!! Love the enthusiasm..and I think Charlie is a fan as well
Yeah, I get you.
Thank you Charlie Hall for that smile at 5:15. You encapsulated it all. ❤❤❤
I love how Adam annunciates his lyrics in a live setting with so much passion
a band at the peak of their powers. absolutely stunning.
The level of craft in TWOD is elite tier... a classic rock band in an era chronically lacking in just that. Right now they're America's best live act hands down. They did the work and deserve the success.
Just seen them here in New Zealand ( touring with Spoon ) , phenomenal show, best in living memory ( I’m 41 )
100% true!!
The way Charlie Hall looks at Eliza at 5:10 says everything about this masterpiece! What a band!
This is a near perfect live performance of a brilliant song. This band just keeps getting better and better.
I hate to disagree but, I think this is a perfect performance.
When that tambourine came in 😭❤️
Lost in the magnificense of this awesome piece of music is the keyboard work of Robbie...
Charlie Hall always looks like he's rerady to break and throw his sticks out of frustration and that's why I love him so much. These guys are absolutely incredible. My favorite band.
Best band on planet earth
This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard
I love Eliza. She's the best nuance to an already perfect band. Is there a word for that?
Perfection ❤
A welcomed layer, like a comfy blanket on a wet, cold rainy day
WOW!!! This song is so beautiful and reflective. I love what they did to it on this live version. Every time I listen to it I feel like I’m having an outer body experience.
My favorite song by The War on Drugs, and in my opinion, this is the best version of the song that's out there. Super star band, everyone is putting their best effort into this performance and you can really feel it. Awesome build up and I am enamored by the guitar effects that they used. Already looking forward to seeing them live whenever they tour in the US again!
Yep,from Australia
The layers, the texture of this music. Such an amazing blend of talent and sound, it really is an honor to hear their work.
love the acoustic guitar from anthony la marca and especially Eliza dancing like feeling free....
The way the sounds meld together...so nice
This is a personal favorite for me. All these humans are incredible; you can tell they are locked in and enjoying every moment.
Cruising Newport Beach 🌊🥁🎸🎻🎹🎤🎧💽☝️😎The War On Drugs. Awesome tunes... SoCal USA 🇺🇲❤️
Again, the quality of the audio mix on these Austin tracks is really good, definitive performances of a band totally in stride. The mix of instrumentation and voice is wonderful.
Esta es LA BANDA de nuestros tiempos. Son absolutamente geniales.
They have this incredible combination of amazing songwriting with being able to emote and extend sections, exploring a vibe and a feel which is kind of hard to describe in so few words. Just incredible.
The best performance yet. Wow.
Sound guy is killing’ it!!!! Great mix!
I love how uplifting their songs are to me, even ones like this with lyrics about loneliness and confusion
The performance of this song gets better every time. With the ridiculouslness of overpriced ticket demands for music today, this is a gem. Everything’s gonna be okay.✌️❤️
they play just as beautifully live as they do recorded...brilliant band
Better,I would say..
Wow!!! I'm so thrilled that I just found this - never heard the band = instant fan! SUCH WARMTH and beautiful layering by all - a real band!
Welcome to the WOD family!
welcome to the tribe called TWOD
Me too.
oh and the drummer is ace!
It is incredible what music can do in the hands of such talented people, I have been following the music of The War on Drugs for a few years and each time I am surprised more and more by how beautiful they play and how beautiful they transmit that energy, thanks for giving us such good music, your music has saved me from many bad moments in my life, I hope you keep doing it for a long time, keep it up guys.
Best band. Best kind of people I know love them and their music to boot. Best music. Best feelings and emotions. Gets me every time. Good from front to back and for so long. Gotta stop, but what’s not to like. This is the best music imo 👌
This was a wonderful upgrade to the studio version and a nice surprise in the concert!
I see Adam with a white strat in my feed, stop whatever it was I was doing and get ready for a ride. Love this band even though many of my friends don’t recognise its greatness
Please put the full concert out again, it was unreal this whole performance is a band at its peak
The war on drugs is like driving a car at night going to the sea to tell the girl of your dreams you’ve always loved her
Don't tempt me
And not being sure if she's going to return the sentiment or not... But that's not the point anyway. The point is the journey and the expression...
Is Elisa using some kind of modern vocoder? Whatever it is, it's perfect. Takes the song to the next level
Going to see them again this summer for the Fourth Time! I’m a metal head but this band are on another level! I was lost in the light that can't be seen
Don't move around in front of me
I'm on a scene, I'm overdrive❤❤❤❤❤❤
Metal head too! But this is exceptional
Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away by this magnificent walk. Certainly a dream instrumental harmony! What a band ❤!
I have wached this probably 20 times today. Simply brilliant and just made my day.
now there's a real Tamborine moment!! get some!
Saw them 3 times last summer, including my first-ever trip to Red Rocks, and this song was without a doubt the highlight of each show.
Saw them twice over the summer ,front row both times..when the album first came out I liked the song, but it did not blow me away. But I must agree with you that it was special performed LIVE..Now it's one of my favorites
Jealous! They had two dates near me last summer. I was out of state for the first, and the second got cancelled. :(
Love this song so much. Great version, the band unbelievably is still getting better and better!
It doesn't get much better than this.
This is way better than the album version. Most bands are inferior live, this band is better live. This was the pinnacle of great music
Adam said in a interview that they have develop this song so much in live and he sounded really happy how the band could develop their music. As a swede i am lucky that i have found them on U tube . Like Goose who is another great band from the america they are not known over here so much yet!
This band has been amazing but they just keep getting better. Well done on adding Eliza! She's soooo good.
Yea- My take home from the ACL performance is what a great addition she is- there’s an added layer of synth like vocals that is so perfect for these songs
Absolutely. Saw the Drugs for the third time at the O2 last year and thought that she made an almost perfect band even better. Bon Iver have just done the same adding Jenn Wasner.
2:56 I died and cried :) That tambourine and expression of joy and lift of life... Also, the drummers facial expression at 5:12 and a few seconds forward...LOVE IT, he is THERE!!
Mind blown 🎵 🎶 I can't stop dancing 💙
Lovely stuff. The drummer loves his job!
what a beautiful evolution of this song
Eliza could sing to me all day, and I would never get bored. Oh, and the rest of the band is great also.
Ha, I get the same vibe. She’s a wonderful addition to this group. She sure brightens the stage!
There music is like the best soundtrack to life.
Favorite song on the album and they’re all good
Saw them live in Cleveland, one of the best live concerts I have ever seen. Whoever does their lighting design is fantastic. It makes their concerts come alive.
amazing band .. Adam and his band are STARS
Best live band on the planet
Thank you, Dominique! And Adam and Co. Everyone dance and sang tonight in the jungle with this song. Pura Vida!
Hermano tico, ojalá TWOD llegue a CR a dar un recital, de una jalo. Mi esperanza que este grupo toque en Panamá es imposible con tanto reguetón que hay por acá (me quiero morir).
@@melvincoronel1071🙏🏽
U all are Blessed! Keep Going On. SO CREATIVE!!!!!
English please.
This is a great song. I am not familiar with them but looking forward to the show this weekend.
This is epic... once in a generation artist/band...
Unbelievable musicians
Their live sound is fabulous.
When Eliza syncs in that voicebox, I get a woodie every time..
I honestly think the members of ToTo would be impressed by their musicianship.
Love this song and this band. Thank you Adam & Co.
Ironic that they’re called the War on Drugs when this song is a drug and I won’t stop listening to it.
I feel in Love with this simplicity of life’s experience melodies from when my daughter Sarah introduced me to her lover of Music tastes
As I have given her my Nostalgic music Vibes 💃❤️
Awesome as usual Adam. Love Aunt Sharon 💜
Just superb!!!
just got tickets for your Ottawa show 2023, so excited to hear this song
GRACIAS GRACIAS.POR ESTA MARAVILLOSA CANCION 🙏👏👏👏🔥♥️🔥
Epic. The best live band in the world.
Best live recording of Harmonias probably
Unbelievable. Perfect in every way!
Great band!
Fantastic 👏🏻
The war on guitar pedals ;)
If this was baseball, they just pitched a perfect game.
My god, what a performance.
Stunning. Makes me want to jump in the car and drive to anywhere
Absolutely bloody sensational!
Magnifici!
Can't wait to watch tomorrow night on PBS.
Unbelievable! Better than the album. They should’ve had them play this at the Grammy’s.
Thank you soo much for sharing!
Give them a Grammy please!
Another?
Grammys mean nuthin
They got a Grammy in 2018, but they should be cleaning house at the Grammys with each release
They got one in 2018 for best rock album
What a masterpiece!
The Best!!!!!
The best version of this live yet. I won tickets for this show but couldn't go in the end, my loss. First time I've seen a keyboard player head banging though lol
When Robbie gets into the music he head bangs a lot. Also he wrote parts of this song. I love this band so much! Adam and the rest of the band paint pictures for me with their music. Adam attending art school was not a waste because I believe he developed his techniques for writing great songs that touch your emotions using painting methods. He and the band are all such interesting people!
Best band at this time, great performance! Love it🍀
Another world!
First time getting goosebumps from a tambourine.
