Forbes Magazin called it one of the best places to retire around the world even! Especially the town up the hill, Valencia, is a favorite retirement spot. Younger people you will more likely find a bit outside the city, in Dauin for example, there are dive resorts, hostels and a famous UA-camr (Finn Snow) is also living there, building his house to make Dumaguete his home and stay here.
