This was EXTREMELY helpful. I do have one question - Being beginner level in After Effects (I'm mainly on Illustrator and Photoshop), I don't know all too well of basics. How could you make this slower and go for a longer period of time? Also, are there any tools that can make it loop seamlessly, or just making it end on the same frame it begins on? If you have any video links or suggestions, I'm open for anything. Again, VERY helpful!

Hi man, a way to do that is to expand right the CC repetile by 3840 pixels (or twice your comp resolution) then, in the last position keytime set a value of "position - 3840". In this way you have the last frame equal to the first. Cheer
If you haven't figured out yet: Just don't use the Twirl effect and play around with the Directional Blur's angle. I hope I helped :) Sorry I'm this late
