Well, you love your realistic Planet Coaster parks, so let's do another one. Yes, SERIES 6!!! Welcome to Shorehaven Pier. Based on the Grance Palace Pier in Brighton, this beautiful Victorian Pier is about to get copied in Planet Coaster.
This is Episode 6 and the moment I've been putting off... making the worst ghost train Planet Coaster can make. And that is hard because everything is so polished.. not something Brighton's ghost train can say...

I know that the height and safety signs are missing BTW. I had a game crash and ran out of time to re-do what I lost.. hence why there is some touching up needed.. There were also changes to the city that I lost too. I'll put these all back in for the tour :)

Awesome ep as ever Chacho 😁 I noticed that each 3rd car isn’t loading, I think the max wait time must be too low? Might help with the already terrible throughput of these rides! 😆
No, it is the game throttling who is joining the queue. The game has a logic that if the group size is higher than 6, they don't queue. It just so happens that because I've limited the groups spawning in the scenario editor, you don't get many groups of 4 or more. The game doesn't combine a group of 2 and 4 to make 6. It treats them as 2 groups. Interesting observation you make though

Talking about the shore, I think that this project should be fully completed. Meaning that the shore also should be detailed, because the shore is a big part of the project.
I think you're right... The only reason I ask is because literally no-one cared that Fundy was complete...

Future chacho- ok guys so here's how to mod the game to get rid of those kerbs and drop the prestige of your track rides.
Damn I wish this was true.. I barely managed to work stuff out in the database for the cut content video.. I wouldn't know where to begin to mod the game.. I'll leave that to Nexus lol
You deserve an award for showing restraint on a ghost train… it must be so hard yet so fun to purposely do that. Anyway great video as always!!
It sorta is.. everything is so polished and lovely in game.. even the distressed TMTK assets are polished and designed for high budget, glood looking rides. There'e just no jank.. and if there is, it usually looks like you're bad at the game and not bad in real life...

The Brighton pier ghost Train is on so bad it's good levels
It isn't quite there though.. it isn't one you want to go back on for any particular reason... not like, say, Turbo where you know it is bad but you do it because it is still the best coaster they have there..
your ghost train was giving me vecna(ST) vibes with the clocks in each room. the old Victorian look.
Victorian and ghosts are synonymous in the UK too. You never hear of modern day dead people as hauntings - it is always some Victorian woman, wailing about losing her child off the end of the pier or being beaten to death by her abusive fisherman husband or some dumb stuff like that..

Being an American boardwalks are more on the beach while piers go into the water
Correct. Boardwalks are supported by solid ground-based foundations and don't often interact with water as such. Piers are specifically designed to be out in the water. As a result, they support very different weight loads...

@@bigbenji1194 That would require me to have a console, the console edition and put in thousands of hours perfecting how to use the console and console edition. More chance of me doing a timelapse of my builds or a Disney park I'm afaid.

Just watched your video on Planet Coaster 2. Let's assume that its gonna happen soon. I bought the game a week ago. I am kinda late to party. So yea, is it worth puting my time into PC1 and buy the DLCs?
I'd say so, yes.. even the most ambitious rumours place the release at the end of 2023.. and the buildings systems, play style etc is likely to be very similar because of the Planet universe..Zoo plays almost identically to Coaster.. and JWE2 plays almost identically to JWE.. so you're good to go I'd say...

Would you ever consider putting a Arrow coaster in any of your futures projects? I love Arrow coasters, but they don't get much screentime in Planet Coaster parks...
Short answer is yes. Slightly longer answer is not in the next park, but maybe the one after. We don't have Arrow as such here in the UK, because of the relationship between Vekoma and Arrow. Arrow essentially outsourced and licensed everything to Vekoma in Europe.. So any Arrow looking coaster is usually maintained by Vekoma... Even the likes of The Big One, Vampire, Shaman etc...

why does the ghost train have to be a low prestige? surely being more attractive to guests can never be a bad thing?
It is a bad throughput ride, creates a cluster at the entrance because the queue is full and other rides go ignored as a result..
