1. I read somewhere that devouring human flesh leads to death, that's why it's the feast of a lifetime. If this is true, then it's one way to do... that.
2. The epiphyseal growth plates disappear in men after the age of 17, and in women after the age of 15. How those bones became available to be served, I'll leave that image to you.
3. 食らう is already vulgar way of eating, but 喰らう is more of an animallistic devouring, like a hungry wolf.

2. Koukatsu because of the ｲﾗｯｼｬｲﾏｾ. In the song, the fox also eats / kills a bunny and a pig.
3. White Happy. 僕の一等賞を奪いに来て、"come and steal my first-place prize" it feels slightly sexual, doesn't it? The 一等の膜 also feels like that for me, so I translated it as hymen. It's literally "first class membrane"

1. 1:05 I translated 脛骨 as 頸骨. Instead of "tibia", it should be "neckbones".
2. 1:17 I missed the 美 from 耽美. The correct translation is "Earbones, cheekbones and sphenoid bones. Unprecedented obsessions with the pursuit of beauty are bustling in the air."
Small detail I saw mentioned on the original upload- The symbols that play in the beginning in time with the whole "EAO" bit correspond to keys on a Japanese keyboard and ultimately translate to "HUNGRY" typed repeatedly and frantically.

@@TheGusst2Gamer美味bimi= delicacy 美の味binomi=taste of beauty, since the original title ビノミbinomi is in katakana, it makes people interpret it in different ways since it's not a real word when its spelled like that so you can only go off whats presented in the song. anyway that's what i assume with them translating it as "delicacy." imo either delicacy or taste of beauty can work and not binomial. i can say this is the best translation ive come across so far for this song..! and even though its super detailed and straight to the point i think it still holds a lot of hidden meanings like connecting it to other past maretu songs

I love how direct this song is compared to another like Angel 92
I was there during the premier. The intro already made me go ？！, and then the lyrics made me go ？！？！？！even harder. Compared to the previous 2 songs where you had to dive deep to find the darkness, I didn't expect this one to be so direct. 😁
I've seen like, one other person mention this sounds like somebody getting Kuru, And I agree but the shop setting/noises rlly is interesting and I don't think ppl mention it, at least in this comment section, cause its making me think of a possible restaurant that serves the human meat hidden as normal meals or something like a more secret place/spot?? I agree! From the lyrics, I got the vibes that this is a restaurant you can only visit once in your life because of that illness. Plus, to add more to the darkness, this restaurant servers epiphyseal growth plates, which I've highlighted in the description that it disappears in men after the age of 17, and in women after the age of 15. They serve those in that restaurant, meaning they got their hands on those young bones somehow. The more you think about it, the creepier it gets.

This kinda feels like a Maretu parody on Kikuos songs if that makes sense? Like to the way the lyrics are sort of buildt up or maybe im just alittle crazy
I'm not too invested in Kikuo's works, but if we only look at how the song sounds, it reminded me of "Kimi wa dekinai ko" or "You're a Useless Child". Both sound happy yet have dark lyrics.
It seriously does. Kikuo has a way of making dark topics sound whimsical, especially with songs that 'advertise' death, where the singer is either someone dead or some sort of extraworldly entity. This feels like Kikuo-Maretu fusion 'advert' for cannibalism!

After listening to this song a lot I feel as if it parallels Gomene Gomene with how cannibalism is how the main song is interpreted but sprinkled in with the whole "This is the perspective of a child, so everything said in vivid detail is actually how the child thinks what is happening and wants out of it before her life essence drained up." (Basically sexual child abuse written from a child's perspective) But here in Delicacy (or Binomi) it is written of the perspective of an adult who eats young girls (the ephisieal fuses after 15 for girls. Plus the song mentions first class membranes which are hymens. Also a White Happy reference) and describes the experience as a once in a lifetime experience due to the fact their eating those children's organs in a litteral sense and thinking about all kinds of different dishes they could make with each piece. Yes, they could potentially get a disease that will kill them but that makes the meal more enjoyable in a sense. A last meal of sorts. The thrill of ravenously wolfing down food adheres to the singer's predatory aspect. (In an animal sense, and a sexual/predatory aspect in my opinion.)
Overall this song gets darker as you keep listening to it over and over again to catch subtle details.
Idk if this is a stretch but honestly this is how I interpret the song.

Like others have probably stated already these all connect to "kuru" a disease from eating human flesh and more likely the human brain. Kuru is a disease of the nervous system, making you lose control of your body, the main symptoms of kuru are as follows.
Arm and leg pain
Coordination problems that become severe
Difficulty walking
Headache
Swallowing difficulty
Tremors and muscle jerks
people who suffer from the Kuru disease die usually within one year of symptoms, but symptoms can lay dormant for up to 15 years after contracting the disease. The disease is an extremely rare prion disease, eating human meat once does not mean you have the disease but the character in the music video seems to be addicted to eating human meat or really infatuated with eating it....
Meal of a lifetime could also be referring to the lifetime of the person that is being eaten.
This is the first time I hear about it, so no, you're the first one to mention it. I don't know the origins of that disease, but in Japanese, "kuruu" 狂う means to go insane, to go mad. There's probably no link between that word and the disease, but I think it's a nice coincidence.

@@Zconcern Well, technically, "kuru" is 来る which means to come. You may have heard in anime something like "kocchi ni kite" "Come here". It becomes "to go insane" if you add an extra u to the end, "kuruu" 狂う.

Well I heard a fact about cannibal that when a animal eats their own kind it is perfect meal for them because they like contain the perfect amount of nutrients and stuff that the animal needs for living soo it might be the same for the humans so that may be some human become cannibal but what this has to do with the song is that it is obviously about cannibalism and the addiction and guilt about it I think 🤔

At that line, the lyrics says "皮膜 脳膜 一等の膜", which literally translates to "membranes, meninges, first class membranes". In my point of view, MARETU wouldn't repeat words like this, that's unlike of him. That "first class membranes" looked weird to me, so I started thinking, and then White Happy's 僕の一等賞を奪いに来て came to my mind and how sexual it was. And then it clicked what that "first class membrane" is probably trying to reference.

I'm curious what kind of person he is as well. In 2023, MARETU tweeted that he was officially diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum along with ADHD. He was simultaneously also diagnosed to have "light to moderate" depression, for which he received medication.

I also noticed that the knife is more of a weapon/hunting knife while the fork is very cutesy and normal. One if for cutting meat of of fresh prey while the other is to politely eat a meal at a table, it goes well with the song, as cannibalism is seen as a barbaric act while eating at a restaurant is completely normal (as the song look to be someone going to a human meat restaurant, very much a given by the opening and closing of the song)

Long story short, I enlisted to be officially diagnosed, I got an appointment for this August. I have a half-sister who pushed my parents for me to become diagnosed, but they refused. I'm well into adulthood now, so she personally told me about it. She dated someone who was mildly on the spectrum for 6 years, so she's sure that I'm also on it. I started looking up signs and some of them really resonate with me, some of them explains so much about my life. I also scored 31 on an online AQ test. I'm not asking you to diagnose me, that'll be done by professionals, but, is this like another sign I should take into consideration?

I would recommend to get it checked out by professionals if you could be anywhere on the autism/ADHD spectrum as you could receive help and resources for any struggles in your daily life or at work/school. It's a really good first step that you've researched and read up about any traits or behaviours of yours that could be similar. As I feel, being conscious about how you are as a person is a really important part to that journey.

I wonder what this is about. ..I mean, cannibalism, obviously, but I wonder the deeper meaning. I always interpreted it as someone getting Prion disease as they ate human flesh, presumably the flesh of a child or young person. Why a child? I wonder if MARETU added it just for the sake of making the song more audially morbid or if maybe this is more figurative. I'd love to hear some more interpretable meanings on this song even though it's pretty forward
