Imagine any of the townsfolk looking out their window in the middle of the night and seeing bright lights and purple lights going off and on and moving around the convent. You may have just started a new ghost story.
Especially since the investigator's flashlights were designed to make that scary purple glow for the cameras. There might have been 50 calls to 911, hee hee. 🧡

As a former short-term convent resident (a different one) everyone starts off with the same intent, to grow in love with God. It is a difficult path, dealing with many other personalities that may not exacty be as charitable. Bad nuns existed; that's why the sister's community prays and works with eachother to help eachother grow in holiness.
I think because it was a hospital, there could be people's suffering. And in different time periods, people had different mindsets, which would be creepy. May be just old lady energy, and some nuns were/are very cruel, some were good.

It would be a great Laurel and Hardy episode on the top floor of the convent. Phil and Ryan feed off each other's anxiety. An even better one would be Abbott and Costello.
Not sure if you're familiar with the Norwegian children's show, Pompel og Pilt, but they have a trippy vibe and there are a whole generation of adults who still have nightmares. They are two puppets who are 'repairmen'. The sets of the buildings they enter are terrifying, filled with cobwebs and run down things that are very poorly lit. They try to fix bits and pieces and all usually ends in something horrible. The cast of supporting characters are even more terrifying.
It’s not just that Billy and Phil heard doors opening and closing, it’s that we’ve seen it on video. I pay attention to weird feelings in buildings as I’ve lived in places that were less than inviting and welcoming. I’m not going into my past experiences but I’ve come to know, not ‘believe’ in something other than what I see. I’m hopeful all will remain peaceful and quiet. And as usual, amazing job Phil, Ryan and Alex! I would like to see if you could find a Nun that lived their and bring her for a walk through and get a feel of more of the day to day life of the order when they lived there and what the app,s were used for.
That would be a fabulous idea, but I thought Billy said in a previous episode that the nuns have all passed on. I thought he said their order numbers were dwindling and they were all aging when they sold the convent. I could very well be wrong and would be so happy if there were a nun still out there who lived at the convent.
the order would have been disbanded and the remaining nuns would have been sent to a new convent . He would have to get with the church seeing how the catholic church owned the property and dictated what went on at the convent through the Arch diocese of that area. @@janasybrandy6525
I enjoyed this very much! Finding something has never been the point imo. We are all walking in the echos of the past everyday. To be in this moment at this place, where nothing can every be exactly the same again and know that others have shared a moment in that same space with nothing being exactly the same at another time, grounds me. Makes me cherish every moment I can, good & bad, because it will never be the exact same again. Also the thrill of the unknown has massive appeal lol. ✌️💗
Yes! I would love to see more of this kind of video. Maybe bring in a psychic medium, maybe more paranormal equipment. My heart was pounding as Phil went down that dark hallway!
Loved this video. Even without y’all finding anything it was super interesting to see, especially since so many of you get freaked out in that upper hallway! The convent mostly seems it was used for good and as such I don’t know if there would be many hostile spirits. Regardless, would love to see another one sometime.
Well, I don't watch paranormal/"spooky" stuff, but I love you all & had to watch. Thank you, Alex, for freaking me out within the first 30 seconds. I would definitely like to see more. Was glad that spirits were addressed in French, makes the most sense. Maybe spend at least an hour or so, sitting mostly quietly in the scary hallway, 2 people of course. Could address any spirits present in French, inviting communication. Just an idea. I could never be alone in the convent at night!!! With another person, yes. Blessings, love you all & your great work.
WOW guys! What an episode. Phil and Ryan were hilarious, but yet I was kinda of freaked out with them. Very interesting and I eagerly await more to come! 💜
Just a little FYI I grew up in a house that was haunted. I don't know how many ghosts where there but they were not bad or evil. They did things to let you know they were there but nothing harmful or malevolent and sometimes even helpful. As my mother always said "whatever they were in life, they are in death". Just talk to them and explain you're there to save their home and you mean no harm. Nuns are about love, peace and compassion so they won't harm you.
It sounds crazy but you’re absolutely right! I had one once and it did not like the remodeling we started. I talked to it and explained things and it quit hiding my tools. I’m 💯 serious!
This was hilarious! Kudos to you all! Great sports! Phil and Ryan had me almost in tears of laughter. I'm not trying to downplay Phil's terrifying experience... I would have the same reaction...in fact I applaud Phil for going back. It was just still so funny to see Ryan chasing Phil into that room not wanting to be left alone in the hall! 😂 Nick and Rebecca were professionals as usual credit to them. Ryan and Phil were comic relief for sure. 😂. But then what does one do when they've been scared spitless and then find it's nothing? They laugh! 😂 Great episode guys! Really enjoyable! ❤❤❤
You guys had me laughing. So easy to freak yourself out. It would really be hard to stay there by yourself, especially without lights on. All those doors open down the hallway waiting for someone to jump out. Fun show.
I worked in nursing homes for many years, and we dealt with death as the elderly passed away. Preparing bodies for pickup by the mortuary was part of our job back then. I never felt strange working nights, but it wasn’t pitch dark either. There were always lights on in the hallways. I respect that others might have different experiences though.
That convent has been blessed many times, over the years with the prayers of the good nuns who work for God. I did not expect anything sinister to be discovered. Ryan and Phil were hilarious. Loved it😅
Let me ask you one question, How could you hear anything talking , loudly, and continues, and expect to hear anything, hear anything abnormal? They showed themselves much more with Billy! Please revisit with another team , Please!
Well that was interesting and creepy at the same time. Didn’t think they would find anything, but glad they checked it out. My imagination can get the best of me thinking what may have been. Have a good weekend, guys. Phil, hope you can get a lot done for your party. Thanks to you and Ryan for helping while Billy was away. Great job! 👏🏻
Great job team! Phil and Ryan are probably the most natural presenters I have witness on UA-cam. Naturally funny, Phil, with his sort of insecure approach to things, and Ryan is just an brilliant in his silliness, made this whole thing worthwhile. Billy and the Patricks, as a whole, should be thankful that this channel is left in such good hands! Of course, we should not forget. Simon and Yannis, who are sensible enough to sleep at night.
It's interesting that everyone was creeped out in the third floor corridor. Yeah, get some others in to do more investigating. There's got to be more to it when everyone is creeped out in the same area.
I've lived most of my life in haunted houses/buildings. Too many incidents, going back decades, to be merely "stories". I had some experiences myself. "Ghosts" are spirits of the departed "Ghouls" are evil entities I've lived with both. While ghosts may be a bit unnerving, the presence of evil is another matter entirely.
@@amysbees6686yes. It's weird when you have both in the same place. Thankfully the ghost was in charge, but I always felt that the balance wasn't guaranteed.
Phillip and Ryan's scooby doo episode 🤣🤣❤️❤️This was fun and still worth a shot for sure. More history talked about and explaining the rooms .. neat really. To think that building was in use when there was no electricity or running water .. and that place was DARK!!! Didnt convenients and building like these actually make their own candles? Oh yes! Please do more of this, and perhaps longer in an area such as the stairway where Billy has doors moving. Also an extended emf video where the door opens to the courtyard, perhaps a permanent feed to the recorder. Great video here.
I don't think they found absolutely nothing. I think the multiple visits to the long hallway with 'goosebumps', needs to be revisited. I'm with you Ryan, "f I'm not doing it"! That was fun. Thanks for all you did and the inconveniences you went through to bring us this fun night. Thanks Ryan and Alex.....and Billy of course.
My fingers were crossed nothing bad. Ryan, and Phil, you are so brave. I was on tenterhooks when the lights were off. Glad all showed nothing, but a convent should be free of ghosts anyway.😮
I work in a very old building with a long history like this and have that exact feeling of being watched in certain areas of the building. I would never go there at night. It doesnt help that the BBC photographed a ghost in the attic!
You really freaked me out with this one ……well done again Ryan for the presentation ….you are coming on in leaps and bounds now you’ve found your own little niche …..!x❤️
Thanks for making me laugh Phil and Ryan! But also you were braver than many. You wouldn’t get me in there at night! I think an overnight stay in one those ‘goosebumps’ rooms on the top floor would be a better chance and ask the local spiritualists to come and see if anyone ‘comes through’.
It was Ritually deconsecrated in 2010 before being sold. That act is meant to leave neutral space, so if there were anything there…it arrived since 2010.🖤🇨🇦
Thank you all. It seemed suspiciously quiet. Needs to be repeated with Billy there, and a spiritualist would be very interesting. I felt very emotional when Rebecca was in the 2nd room up in the attic, and literally struggle to watch anything from the spooky corridor. I also repeat that Billy’s office overlooking the Chapel needs to be investigated. I hope that Phil is ok 😀
this was really well done. thank you. and i love how billy had this done while he was away. hahaha. bringing in a spiritualist might be quite interesting. great job to all of you who took amazing care of the channel while billy was away. clap clap clap
26:55 you can hear a voice that wasn’t these two almost like it said yeah or something. Just after his question. 28:07 some other sound like a knock with a small voice/moan or maybe a sneeze. Can’t tell if it’s a echo from the guy speaking or something talking kind of when he’s talking 28:19 that one unsure about. Definitely this simple way of ghost hunting is best, because with using other objects it can bring unwanted things and ramp up the activity.
Wow, great video thanks. Yes some people are more sensitive to paranormal than others, as much as they are restoring the convent which is a great thing to do, any slight alterations to any building can cause paranormal activity to increase in any building

@@merrileeheard3889it’s nice to watch! 😂
@@ThePethericksEspecially at a distance. I can't say for sure, but I don't know if I would find it uncomfortable. At 72, I figure I've seen enough weird stuff, that this just seems like dark rooms 🤷♀️
@@merrileeheard3889Everyone has an opinion, but everyone is different. One’s beliefs shouldn’t be judged because they haven’t experienced the same things as others.

What fun !!! I was waiting for the boys to do a Scooby Doo and run out of the secret room. My youngest son is 40 and I still call my 2 sons the boys. being an old woman in the USA let me say again that I love the channel and look forward to the gang visiting me each day. We can't choose family but we can choose our friends and the gang here are invited into my home every day. Great video content. Have a great weekend everyone.
Loved the episode! Loved how Ryan git himself so worked up he almost wetted himself. Phil should have pranked him 😂
I enjoyed this very much!
Renovating always stirs things up. I stayed on property while we did work and had to say "leave the tools alone please".
WOW guys! What an episode. Phil and Ryan were hilarious, but yet I was kinda of freaked out with them. Very interesting and I eagerly await more to come! 💜
Ryan you have missed your calling! You are such a gifted historian storyteller!
Fabulous filming;creating great drama/suspense. Billy must be cracking up instead of cracking on!
More ghost hunting stuff! When the weird things happen, you never know when. Great episode!
Excellent advice, especially for Billy!
Loved this one. Made me laugh at Ryan and Alex😂 please do more. 😊🏴
Well done Ryan. So professional in your presentation while covering for Billy. Love❤ it. Keep it up ! Xx
Phil and Ryan spooked each other out. Laughing out loud here 😂
That convent has been blessed many times, over the years with the prayers of the good nuns who work for God.
Yes ,we know where Billy is ,When he returns, revisit the spirits, please .
🤔🤔👍
I was thinking the same thing. Not only constantly talking but loud. Probably scared everything away.
Talking and not listening very much. I think they should have stayed in each room a little longer too
@@kimg1879 I think they were scared. She did not want to stay in the seclusion attic room by herself...lol.
Brilliant! Thanks everyone for entertaining us - more please!
The Priest holes during the Reformation was in England, where the Catholic Mass was illegal, not France.
It's interesting that everyone was creeped out in the third floor corridor. Yeah, get some others in to do more investigating. There's got to be more to it when everyone is creeped out in the same area.
Simon would be a good choice for that .
Well, people have seen my Grandmother after she died, not a family member. The people packing my Mom’s house.
I've lived most of my life in haunted houses/buildings. Too many incidents, going back decades, to be merely "stories". I had some experiences myself.
"Ghosts" are spirits of the departed
"Ghouls" are evil entities
I've lived with both. While ghosts may be a bit unnerving, the presence of evil is another matter entirely.
@@amysbees6686yes. It's weird when you have both in the same place. Thankfully the ghost was in charge, but I always felt that the balance wasn't guaranteed.
I could actually see the goosebumps on that man's arm ! It is strange that so many people are creeped out by that same corridor.
I know the missions in California did. I think our ghost hunters are very professional and grounded folks ✌️🙏❤️ I do think the building is waiting for Billy tho 😳😉
This was fun!! Great job Ryan hosting all week!!
What good fun! Nothing like a jaunt around a haunted building! 👻😂 Phil & Ryan were really hilarious feeding off each other’s fears 😂👍🏼 Good show! Next time, don’t tell the ghosts you’re coming! 🤣🤣🤣
Loved it , I ysed to work in a nursing home and I felt the same way on the landing of the top floor , I felt very uncomfortable as if I were being watched . I worked nights aswell . Loved the video xx
I wonder how the nuns feel about men walking around the corridors at night, especially the mother superior?😉
Right?!
Since it was sold by the nuns and deconsecrated, I imagine they don't mind a bit. It is no longer a 'holy' building where rules would be broken.
@@Ali-cn1du I'm thinking they are talking about spirits, not the nuns still alive.
English men no less!
Happy, curious, horney... m
Very interesting..... When Billy hears doors slamming he's usually downstairs on his own, this is where you should all be, until a noise happens then investigate. Ryan your very good at narrating, introducing etc.... Thankyou everyone 🙏😊
Ryan does an excellent job at presenting.👍
Alex, your intro music selection is off the charts! 😲😲
I must applaud all of you had a lot of laughs and have to agree with a lot of the other viewers and ones that made come mints😂 all and fun! Keep up the great work. We'll look forward to exploring more of the super unnatural until next time we'll continue to follow the journey
congrats to everyone involved holding down the convent for billy - fantastic episodes and everyone contributed to great content. Well done team billy :)
You guys have got a great Blair Witch type project in the making! Billy should reach out to all the ghost hunter shows and have them investigate. Well done Phil, Ryan and friends.
Lol that's exactly what it reminded me of too!🙃😂🤣😂
Ryan, Simon, Yannis and Alex and Phil thank you all so much for the awesome week. Bravo ❤❤❤❤.
I wish you had done this as a live stream. Would have been an epic watch!
Oh yes! Please do more of this, and perhaps longer in an area such as the stairway where Billy has doors moving.
Also an extended emf video where the door opens to the courtyard, perhaps a permanent feed to the recorder.
Great video here.
The previous occupants were in the service of Our Lord. Nothing out of order!
The convent is so beautiful at night and I love the Chapel all lit up. Ryan, you are a fantastic historian.
They may not have heard anything but goosebumps mean something to me.
Loved it… please do more like this. Ryan you were brilliant!
Oh wow I’ve got the shivers all over ! Yes for spiritualist. 👍😎🐕🦺🐈⬛
Ryan, "Okay, I'll get my phone out now and dial 911." 😄❤
🤣🤣🤣
My fingers were crossed nothing bad. Ryan, and Phil, you are so brave. I was on tenterhooks when the lights were off. Glad all showed nothing, but a convent should be free of ghosts anyway.😮
I work in a very old building with a long history like this and have that exact feeling of being watched in certain areas of the building. I would never go there at night. It doesnt help that the BBC photographed a ghost in the attic!
Wow! That is certainly evidence! (Providing it wasn't fabricated!)
@@amysbees6686 it wasn't... 😳
When did BBC film the Convent? Or was it your building they filmed? Thank you
@@karinbergman1646 it was my work they filmed. Sorry if I raised the convent excitement there!

That act is meant to leave neutral space, so if there were anything there…it arrived since 2010.🖤🇨🇦
Awesome intro, I'm kinda glad for Ryan that nothing happen, because he will adventually be living there many nights alone, great team work as allways
Fab vlog guys. Ryan and Phil, what a duo. Excellent camera work too from Alex!!❤
Ryan and Phil so funny … well done team 👍👍👍
Thank you all for keeping the channel going while Billy & Gwen were on Holiday 🤗👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Loved this! Please get some more ghost hunting teams in x
this was really well done. thank you. and i love how billy had this done while he was away. hahaha. bringing in a spiritualist might be quite interesting. great job to all of you who took amazing care of the channel while billy was away. clap clap clap
I love Ryan. I am not creeped out. I am laughing. Especially on the third floor hallway. 😂
You’ve really made me laugh Ryan 😂😂😂
What fun! Love the variety of things you're sharing!
With my terrible South African sense of humour I just wished that someone would jump out of a doorway onto Phil or Ryan. 😂
Honestly, I was waiting for Simon to pop out and scare the sh1t out of Phil and Ryan! 🤣😂🤣
Loved this episode...nice change of pace. The quality of the videos is so much better than before. Please keep it up
I’d be more afraid of rodents and creepy crawly things than spirits!
😂😂😂me as well
Same!
Im scared of both xD
Squirrels raccoons large rats an flopping bats
Wow, great video thanks. Yes some people are more sensitive to paranormal than others, as much as they are restoring the convent which is a great thing to do, any slight alterations to any building can cause paranormal activity to increase in any building
Don't you have to be quiet, with no light, and spend lots of time in the room for any paranormal activity to occur?
Quiet is the best and to be patient..talking and making noisy movements is a big no .
The investigators are very chatty and quick to say I don’t feel anything. I hope billy will see if there are others investigative teams interested
@@janetpendlebury6808
Good point!
I've experienced paranormal phenomenon in the middle of a sunny summer day!
The guys are too freaked out already...and noisy.
Exactly! Quietly sit in the dark for 15 - 30 minutes with a voice recorder.
Nervous energy ... they are talking a mile a minute, lol 😅😂
This was so much fun to watch! Thumbs up to the whole team!
