I liked the Travis air trainer 1s. There was some interesting things done like having the backwards swoosh on the inner side and the brown colour looks great with autumn fits. But the thing that caught my eye was the the font text having this 80s Alien vibe. A clean pair that goes against the typical hype beast mentality.
You know the deal. I personally recently ordered my Beige/Brown Suede Air Trainers 1 Shima Shima Collabs. I will try and keep them Crispy by wearing them periodically on Dry Days. I don't like following the herd with Dunks, Pandas, etc., so these Shima Shima Trainers will definitely Pop!
The Jordan 2 has got to be the biggest flop. Had Hella potential, especially with what Virgil did but the overwhelming collabs truly kept killing an already dead silhouette.
the problem of the jordan 2 is that they branded it they laid pictures of the shoe with the laces done entirely on the tongue hiding the air jordan and ruining the shoe
They shoulda just dropped the elephant prints and infrareds . I think with baggy coming back into style people will learn how to wear them better. These shoes are tuff with just straight leg nike sweats 🤷🏾♂️

100% I love dunks but only being able to get them from over priced second hand sellers or raffles is fucking annoying. Being able to go to any website and buy any pair of Forums straight up is a massive win. Easy to buy, affordable, great materials, and plenty of stock. Adidas answered for the people, not the ridiculous after market hype.
Mega happy with my Forums. Got about 12 pairs. Great shoes, always fits well and proper comfy. Couldn't careless about opions on them but do agree, the colabs have been a tad ropey. I do like the Home Alones though! That's one of the better ones! Plus they were 2021 😉 But, thanks to the sales got myself some AJ 2's Balvin colab which is the only pair of any Jordans I've been interested in this year aside from the Lost and Founds.
The Forum High x Prada was a great collab imho. Yes it was expensive. But the Prada nylon + leather combo looked great on the sneaker and made the shoe more high fashion than any regular Forum model. And that is what makes a good collab. Elevating a basketball sneaker to fashion, just like Virgil did to so many Nike models.
I agree with you but what I didn’t agree with Eliot is that forum is a flopped. It isn’t it as bad bunny last forum sold out at END. Usually on End they have a few in size after weeks but not for the last forum release.
I was late to the party but the Forums are really nice ok so they dead on resale but as a clean well made day to day pair can't fault them. The Bad Bunny pairs mwah * chefs kiss.

I like the classic nike cortez, and its very easy to style as well, but they refuse to sell or release that original ‘forrest gump’ shoe that was so popular.
The real problem I have with the Jordan 2 is that it's way too color way dependent. Most of the retros models like 1, 4, and 11 look good in 90% of color ways but Jordan 2s only look good in like 30%

I have a pair of Union x Nike Cortez’s and they are great. Awesome colorway and great materials. I feel like people just don’t show love to the Nike Cortezs anymore. I also have the Be True Nike Cortez which isn’t too bad either. Another sneaker that I have in my collection is the Air Trainer 1 in the Photon Dust colorway. They are a fire pair and go with almost every single outfit. People need to be more creative in the sneaker models they have on their feet, instead of wearing a basic pair of Jordan 1s or Nike Dunks that everyone has.
i think they were trying to be too diverse with their models for any dunks or jordans and the ones that weren't hyped never had any hope. i never heard of the air trainer 1 before and might check them out. i have wide feet so any i should look out for?
I feel the Air Trainer 1 is a pretty wide shoe. Maybe a little less wide then the Air Force 1. I don’t think you’ll have any problems if you decide to pick up a pair
Some colorways on the Forum aren't what's up. Since I'm an 80's baby, I'm familiar with them. I recently purchased the patent leather red /white high top. I'm waiting for the correct weather to break those out.
Those Nike Dunk High 85's were horrendous! Glad I was able to flip my pair asap. Those Sacai's were so promising and once I tried them on also I was disappointed.
I really like the sacai Cortez. I hope Nike brings classic GR Cortez back bc they’re probably one of the most iconic shoes ever and go with everything. Worn them few times and the ankle doesn’t appear to be an issue for me might just be me tho. I personally just love the sacai Cortez and don’t think I’ve ever seen a shoe like it
I liked the ISPA line when they were doing the 720's and the 'envelope' shoe that was like a bag you folded over your foot. But they went too far into being weird just for the sake of being weird.
Just buy what you like, trends come and go and if its a good collab it will always catch eyes regardless if its under retail or not. Good shoes to pick up right now is the travis scott trainers and j2 union collab for 300 bucks or less you can get a pair of union jordans and a travis scott shoes that’s always a steal.

I tried to own a pair of Dunk '85's, but they made them even more narrow than regular dunks. I gave up when a size and a half up didn't fit, which sucks because I liked the look and presentation of them, they came in a sick box! I just want Nike to drop normal Cortez's again, I'm getting real tired of staring at my brother's 2016 "Forrest Gump" pair he left at my house that I can't wear because they're a full size too small.

I have the "cameltoe"/toe-split ISPA shoe, and it is actually one of my favorite shoes. They must be the lightest ones i have, they breathe, greath material and a perfect summershoe. I have some few chill 350's and other "sock" shoes, but the ISPA is definetly my favorite one. I think they have some nice estetics as well, but its a bit out there... I agree to this range Elliot. I love the forum, but mid's have shittier quality than the highs, and the lows usually are really un-inspiring. Lets hope some cool shit to drop in 2023!

I own 2 pairs of these flops 😂 - Dunk ‘85 Acid Wash orange/blue and they fit me TTS. Materials are ok, nothing special but a warm and solid shoe. - Cortez Union Sesame, instead, are dope. Perfect with shorts or trousers, cw interesting, not so comfy but I thought cork sole was even worse. These pair is not narrow as the Forrest Gump Sacai…. In that pair of shoe it’s true that you risk your ankle every step 😂
Almost the entire shoe releases of year 22 except a few was flops in my opinion & even If it made it to the market however.. If the sale is poor.. It's a flop.
It would have been cool if they did it where it came apart and then you can interlock choose of the same style just different colors that would have been cool but going for the easy to Recycle thing LOL
Virgil, Union and A Ma Maniere killed it on the J2. The other collabs (respectfully) not so much. But here's the thing. The shoe flopped because of the releases and colorways, not necessarily because of the silhouette itself. Let's imagine a world with J2 collabs with: Off White A Ma Maniere Union Travis Scott Fragment and some clean colorways like the Chicago color blocking but with royal/unc/celtics/ravens and then we'd be talking sell outs!

Im extremely happy that Adidas Forums aren’t upcharged by resellers. The fact that they have 100s of color ways for cheap cheap is a huge plus imo.

Check out the Wood Wood x Adidas Forum, that's probably the best collab that I've seen in person.
That and the end clothing collab. Like adidas did fuck up with the Wtf collab. But there some solid collabs on the shoe.

I tried to own a pair of Dunk '85's, but they made them even more narrow than regular dunks. I gave up when a size and a half up didn't fit, which sucks because I liked the look and presentation of them, they came in a sick box! I just want Nike to drop normal Cortez's again, I'm getting real tired of staring at my brother's 2016 "Forrest Gump" pair he left at my house that I can't wear because they're a full size too small.
Its a shame jordan 2's dont get love , i got a pair of maison chateu rouge and I fell in love but there arent rly a lot of cw out there that interest me .

I have the "cameltoe"/toe-split ISPA shoe, and it is actually one of my favorite shoes.
They must be the lightest ones i have, they breathe, greath material and a perfect summershoe.
I have some few chill 350's and other "sock" shoes, but the ISPA is definetly my favorite one.
I think they have some nice estetics as well, but its a bit out there...
I agree to this range Elliot. I love the forum, but mid's have shittier quality than the highs, and the lows usually are really un-inspiring.

I got the stussy Penny 2 and it's painfully narrow. Nike makes the worst sneakers. When I throw on my new balance 574 after wearing any nikes it's like putting a cloud on my feet after something super harsh

another popularity contest "hype" list...not being aware the difference between the 4D & 4DFwd tells me neither has been worn for more than enuff time to take insta pics_I have @ 40-pair of Ultra Boost(I sold the 20 pair of Yeezy's I had)& the 4D Fwd comes very close to the comfort_So while I'm just falling in to the algorithm trap_for ppl interested in the 4D & 4D Fwd...as someone that has several pair_I highly recommend
When you speak about Jordan 2 don't forget the Maison Château Rouge ! They are prob one of the best sneakers of this year, the work done on them is amazing despite Jordan 2 not really being an amazing silhouette, and damn in term of quality prob the best sneakers of this year.

- Dunk ‘85 Acid Wash orange/blue and they fit me TTS. Materials are ok, nothing special but a warm and solid shoe.
- Cortez Union Sesame, instead, are dope. Perfect with shorts or trousers, cw interesting, not so comfy but I thought cork sole was even worse. These pair is not narrow as the Forrest Gump Sacai…. In that pair of shoe it’s true that you risk your ankle every step 😂

Virgil, Union and A Ma Maniere killed it on the J2. The other collabs (respectfully) not so much. But here's the thing. The shoe flopped because of the releases and colorways, not necessarily because of the silhouette itself.

and some clean colorways like the Chicago color blocking but with royal/unc/celtics/ravens and then we'd be talking sell outs!

Glad those Air trainer 1s flopped since I can get them for cheap. They are an amazing looking shoe. I prefer them to the Lost and founds honestly.
