Funny enough Nazo’s design was originally supposed to be a Super Sonic form in Sonic X.
Nazo, truly one of my favorite voices to do. Omahdon is a true legend!
Fun Fact about the Dragon Ball Evolution movie, the actor for piccolo went on to voice Zamasu in the anime, and in Sparking Zero, Corrupted Fused Zamasu's ultimate actually has an easter egg to that movie. During the Ult. Zamasu says, "Human power has failed before, as it will again," that's a direct line Piccolo says in that movie

This was made around the time that sonic x was still extremely popular within the fandom and sonic oc’s were practically everywhere.
Plus people still really wanted another season of sonic x around this time aswell.
Obviously sonic x and anime is still popular nowadays. But back then people were practically obsessed with sonic and anime related stuff to an extent.
There’s also a lot of references in this to dragon ball and sonic. (obviously)
There was even a rumour going around at one point that a new season of sonic x was being made and would involve mephiles.
