I was shocked by that debate. ABC didn't even try to hide their bias. It was the worst moderated debate I've seen in my 67 years.

What a bunch of irrelevant comments here. Earrings? Who gives a crap! BTW, Wall Street Journals own reporters used stopwatches re length of time each candidate spoke…Trump got a huge margin primarily because he chronically interrupted the questioners and took off on bizarre tangents so as usual he self destructed! It was Trump 47 total comment minutes, Harris 38 minutes. Each was asked 14 questions. It’s in the eye of the beholders dude! Fox tv commentators right after said Trump lost and Sen Lyndsey Graham said “he was a disaster”. That about sums it up!

Trump didn’t call out the biased moderators because he’s used to it. It’s pointless.

Me too. She told 26 blatant lies by my count and wasn't "fact-checked" even once. I'm also glad Trump responded to her lies. You cannot allow someone to flagrantly lie about you and not respond to it for two main reasons. First and foremost, a lot of people will believe the lies about you, no matter how large or small, if you leave them unanswered. Secondarily, you will be perceived as a doormat/pushover. I'm tired of all the Monday morning quarterbacks who are ostensibly on "our side" doing multiple interviews and spewing nonsense about Trump "taking the bait" and/or losing his temper. This was not even close to a traditional debate, it was rather a shameful partisan ambush !!!

She kept repeating the BS that legacy media has told over the past 7 or 8 years, which have all been debunked. For example, the lie about "fine people on both sides." If you take the time to watch the full video of what Trump said that day, you will realize that he never said that about the white supremacists. Another example is the lie she says about his position on abortion and a national abortion ban. He has outright said he doesn't support a national ban. The Supreme Court decision was all about States' rights and returning the issue to the individual States to decide for themselves whether to permit abortion. Even after she has been corrected, she continues to repeat these lies and others. So, tell me, who is truly the serial liar?

Even more nauseating than that excuse for a debate is the gushing heaped on Harris and ABC and the moderators following the show. Thankfully voters got a good sample of what they can expect from Harris and ABC in the future. Sad...I had expected much better from David Muire. The only winner in this debate was Donald J. Trump! This summer I watched all four 1960 Kennedy - Nixon one hour debates. None had an audience. Everyone was a grownup and the candidates respectfully fact checked each other. Both were incredibly knowledgeable and articulate. What a difference.

I was depressed too, and worse, went to bed that way with a pit in my stomach. I was screaming at my TV every time the "moderators" fact checked him, "they can't do that!" and berating Trump for once again accepting an away game for a debate. If he just could have opened the debate with, "My fellow Americans, over the next hour and a half, my opponent may propose some new policies for our country and try to convince you they're going to improve your lives, and whenever she does, I want you to ask why she and Joe didn't do it- just keep that question with you throughout." That would've tainted every action she was proposing from the start. If he just could've asked about her lying about Biden's mental state, that she was given the nod without winning a single delegate. A true DEI hire- you didn't earn it! There was so much he could have fried her on if he had just taken the initiative and not followed her down every rabbit hole. I only hope enough people already had their mind made up prior, or that she was so directed on bashing him that she gave undecideds nothing substantive on herself.
