Hi, I'm Franzi and I like to share my thoughts about books.
Great Video! Salem's Lot is an excellent vampire novel. I would also advise to read his short story and novella collections as this gives you a good feel for his writing. Night Shift is awesome but I prefer Skeleton Crew, perhaps because it is the first collection I read from the author. I would also recommend 11/22/63 as a starting point for non-horror readers, an absolutely amazing time-travel adventure that is beautifully told. Agree, his Hardcover Crime novels give us a glimpse into his versatility as an author, My favorite is Joyland. Dolores Claireborne is a wonderful novel. My top 3: The Stand, IT, The Shining. Look forward to seeing more quality horror content.
Thank you :) I have read neither Skeleton Crew nor 11/22/63 yet, but they are defenitely on my list to pick up in the near future so I'm really looking forward to those. I also really enjoyed Joyland. The Stand & The Shining are fantastic and I mean It is by far my favourite so I get your top 3 :D
Thanks for the recommendations. I haven't read Stephen King since I read Pet Semester and I was too freaked out to finish it. But he's such a good writer so I will start again with Sales Lot. My favorite book of his was The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Have you read it?
I also needed two tries to get through Pet Cemetary :D Yes I have, it's a great book, perfect length and a really interesting story. I think my favourite is IT though :D
