This looks like a military barracks, or a cheap boarding school. Did you guys really benefit from your time there? I'm sure you put a brave face on it, but in the end was it really worth your time, and the expense involved? Did you truly learn much more than you could have learned in a regular church and a regular job? I really hope to read your honest answers to these questions.
Hey there John Thankyou for your honest questions. Doing a DTS truly changed my life. This experience allowed me to be in an environment where I was encouraged, supported, discipled and shown how to grow in my faith. The practical tools that I learnt, are things that I will take with me wherever I go. I have grown up in a Christian family, going to church every Sunday, I’ve had normal jobs too, but nothing has given me the environment to grow in this specific way of missions and understanding who God is and who I am in Him. The staff and leaders are so dedicated to supporting you and it truly helped me realise and process so many things that had hurt me in the past, I was able to forgive and start the process of healing of years of pain. The change and growth that my family saw once I went home, they said was just incredible and my experience impacted them and my community at home. ☺️

i recognize this place! its where i stayed for my DTS way back in 2006!
and almost nothing has changed since...maybe just the lounge in the hallway and the table and shelves in the kitchen
