i read almost 500, 600 books but after reading OSHO i find out he is the only one who got all the answer for your questions. Love u OSHO.

He makes a lot of sense.I get what he is saying.He is saying that society is afraid to love and they let fear control them.
"They let fear control them" I would say it's more like, society don't let fear control them and by that, paradoxically, it controls them, as when you let go of trying to control, there's no more fear, only trust.
I have said for years that love and hate are two horns on the same goat. Thank you Guru.
When u are married u love your wife but when she cheats u hate her, it is a love hate relationship, meaning yes love and hate are same thing at different degrees. True love has nothing to do with romance nor marriage, but a universal truth.

What a contradiction in terms : if you are "possessed" by love, you aren't against anything, you feel compassion for everything. The world might be against you, but you are not against the world.
It means you can do the stupid things that if you are not in love you will never do that kinds of thing.
I want to talk but my English is very bad so I can talk a little bit, he said: "Don't use your mind, just feel it". I can only feel "love" but "hate" I still can't. As he said, none has "true love", only "fake love", I think he's always right

This man has a epic way of getting his words across, i really appreciate these uploads, the part where Osho mentions the cuttings of the wings made me wanna cry it was so poetic to me.

He is a genius poet. A Buddha. I read 400 of his books. Just wow all of them.
There is a profound truth in his teaching. People trained to show love or at least to act as if they love through the teachings in their religion, or morality, culture .... and they show gestures of love not love at all. This says true that their love is no Authentic. But when it comes to hate, since no one trained to show hate, it will be expressed only it is purely there in a person. So peoples hate is more authentic and truer than the love they tried to show.

Love is a dangerous thing. They always said its a thin line.
@melissawells pretty much, we've been programmed and taught how to love by societal standards(i.e. marriage, dating, courtship.) But no one will teach you how to hate. So you find your own undiluted way to hate. It is unique to your spirit on how you hate. Which should be the goal for love. You should find a natural way to love. Not whats expected of you.
when you are able to feel love, you feel hate too, they are both extrem feelings, both are bad, they let us producing pain, the middle way is the true one, there is no love, no hate, no feeling, but silence and peace, all becomes one, maybe it sounds confusing, its no problem you have to meditate, then you will understand the meaning behind this words really, everybody have to make his own experience

Good video. Osho's words are right on. True love dawns on you. You don't have control on it but when it comes, you can just bliss out and be greatful that it is there. All true lovers know it. But the kind of love people preach just becomes a duty. Thx!
@johncordnews: your interpretation missed the intent. He is saying that in our attempts to *teach* to love, love can become a cultural concept, a worldly, idolistic thing that may be diluted and corruptible by others. Authentic love follows no cultural norms or rules in any era or epoch as it is not of this world, and thus is unteachable. Do not mistake the "shadow" cast by an object (an action) for the object itself (love).

Great!! It is about letting your true emotions be. It is about being honest. It is about letting anger come out whenever its needed in a safe way so it doesn´t poisson us and our dear ones. Anger is part of life and we better experience it properly so we don´t get sick or harm someone inocent. Only then, love is possible.

@nikkiredstone, I think it is because we feel we are seperated. We dont feel that we all are you. Once we arrive at that realisation, then love would be a very natural process. In his words, we will be possessed by love. Then we can never ever go wrong even in dreams.

Melissa- In my understanding, there is no need to categorisize your energies. They all float from the same center, that is you. As with all other energies; Hate gets ugly only when you try to block it. Don't fool yourself in this one. When you are angry BE ANGRY. To be in love is to be true. To be true is to be natural. To be natural you have to be brave.
was probably a gift from a government or a society in which he gave his lectures at. Just because you have something doesn't mean that it was a bought piece. It could have just been a gift.

Hate is a subject all these years has egregiously been avoided and concentrated on love only with very disappointing result and no one dared expose its cause but Osho for he really feels for humanity's ages compulsion to feed on this sort of craps.

I would love to share my love with you people... therefore I say that I don't hate you! It is a same thing... but somebody doesn't understand the nature of not being hated by someone... isn't it nice to not being hated? It is same as being loved!
Thank you for reminding me......this is so important. Over the years I have tried in many ways to explain my LSD therapy experience and how strong the emotions are, and how dangerous when repressed. Then we go to school and we are conditioned so completely, we turn out the subconscious mind and try to get along as we are taught.
Then they come along with those powerful psychotropic medications and people take them and try to subdue their emotions. This leads to all sorts of complications.
@PerspectiveEngineer not all life is suffering because Buddha taught us how to reduce suffering to zero. it's possible because we create our own suffering trough ignorance, unawareness and a wrong perception of the self and of the world and of reality. remove that and you remove the suffering.

i can wholeheartedly agree to his point that hate and love are 2 sides of the same coin. they manifest each other differently, but are both released by the same feeling, of living in a world which gives you understanding and protection or on the other extreme gives you the feeling of being mistrusted and excluded.

it kind of makes sense, sort of. i mean, i could speak in vague generalities and seem profound to those who project onto my message. i think he just speaks reeeeeaaalllly slowly and hopes that people forget the original question or fall asleep before he has to make sense.
Damn he is great, i cant believe he has been killed. However what he said? "Every society wants you to be in control", and that society killed him. I am not some crazy bastard, but it's logically a truth what he is saying.
