One of the Tek engineers told me the co-processor is the same board, same spec. as used in the 400MHz portables and its actually good to about 500MHz. In actual use, I find that it may be true.
I think you are talking about the 2400 series that can go up to 400mhz, and most of the boards are interchangeable. The 2200 series only goes up to 100mhz. The 2400 and 2200 series of scopes are totally different and are not interchangeable.
Wow you are right! There are very few of them and they are expensive!! The 2247A is an analog scope but has has many features only seen in a digital scope, just no storage. I hope you find one. Check craigslist as well.
Yes it's in like new condition, it's backup battery is 3.6 vdc. I think it was from a University or something as the guy who sold it to me had many. The Tek 2440 i got is also mint but had both the NvRams dead. Easy to fix and cal. It no doubt has low hrs because both NvRams were dead which means it sat in the off position a lot and it has one hell of a bright trace as well. Cheers! Love your videos btw!
I just bought one. I have digital scopes but I have wanted an analogue for quite some time and the price was right on this guy.
I've had one since the late 80s. It's been very useful and reliable. I actually prefer it over my Tek TBS2000.

Hey there! I would love a Tek 2247A however I'll need to be waiting a bit considering how expensive they go for on Ebay. Very amazing features.
