Awesome 👏 . Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Hey mate, really appreciate you making this video! I just shortened my dual cab tray from 2m to 1.7m and couldn’t be happier with the finish. Makes the Ute look so much cleaner!
Hey Mate,Is it essential to remove the headboard to enable you to get the side angles off. I am wanting to replace the rear plank that has been damaged. Thank Alan
Nice vid mate... do you know by chance what the shortest is you can fit.. I have a short 1360 steel tray I'm thinking of putting on. By my measurements it looks like it will be close to flush with the chassis...
Hey Roam Lyfe, looking to purchase a snorkel for my car but would consider fabricating one. Was wonder if yours is custom because I love the style. Cheers!
Hey mate where did you get the lock hinges from for the back bit that opens for your draw? And maybe if possible can you show me some more photos of your draw finished please
@@RoamLyfe bugger ok no worries. Cheers for the video too I made my tray off this video and almost ready for install just trying to figure out the draw system
Hi mate, you can have someone make one up at a aluminium fab shop! It would just be a case of going down there and chatting to someone! Maybe show them a photo of kind 😊! They are all custom so every one will be differant!
Nice work bloke! I just shortened mine the other day too and it came up mint. Glad I watched this though as I was thinking about giving mine a clean up as well. Did you use the Septone stuff?
@@RoamLyfe yeah easy as man. I ended up using the Septone Ali Brite stuff from supercheap and it worked a charm! It wasn’t on the car yet so I was able to go silly with it but yeah good to know for future cleans

If I got a single cab tray for a dual cab car and cut it down to size would it still bolt on properly?
I want to know this too
Was this a standard d23 allow tray? Or was it off another Ute?
Hey mate it’s a triple M alloy tray, I’m not to sure what it originally came off but I brought it off a bloke who had it fitted to a np300
What is the sizing of the back section light holder
Get vid mate where abouts did u get the rear tail lights from
George Bolton hey mate I didn’t buy them but I’m sure you could find them at jaycar or a auto sparky shop

I can’t remember the brand!! Just be careful not to get it on any of your chassis!

What do you do for work? got a nice shed mate.
Small engine and hydraulic repairs, mainly pressure cleaners and industrial cleaning equipment! I wish it was my shed!
Hey mate great vid! Did you make the rear section for the tray?
Chris Brittain no mate it came like that already! But any alloy blokes could whip that up pretty easily!
How much does it weigh with nothing on it?
jacob dawson it weighs around about the 80-100 kgs mate! Me and another person can lift it!
round off those sharp edges :P and kiss that tray haha
Rounded them off the next day haha the misses made me do it
