- Dyno sessions episode 5 @ BT Performance
Here’s a run down on the set up
97 Civic hatchback
D16
Bisi stage 3 cam w/ upgraded valve train
Vitara piston
H beam rods
Pulsar gt35R turbo
1300cc injectors
E85 - Авто та транспорт
600whp for a single jingle is impressive. I have a boosted D16 that makes just over 400whp and I love it. Its one of the best options for the price imo
Agreed best bang for the buck if you build it up
Hell yeah that's awesome 🔥. Love the D series. Bill hooked me up with a new turbo while they rebuilding. Should be stronger than before on the next Dyno.💪
Can’t wait to see it back on the rollers! Keep me posted so I can make a part 2 for it!🙌🏽
One nasty little hot rod! Nice job Aaron. Now lets go fishing buddy.
Awesome power numbers and great build, Tuning looks super solid too.
Agreed!!!
Nice job!! One badass build!
Yeah the owner made some good choices on combination of parts to really make the set up work out💪🏽
Dope build
Agreed, sleeper build for sure
🔥🔥🔥
Every d series sounds like a damn diesel at idle LOL… mine included!!
Bobbitt’s Bout to tear some shit up yo!!!!
For sure! Might want to upgrade the transmission and axles to handle that power💪🏽
@@BoostedDc4 No reason really to upgrade the transmission unless you mean LSD or maybe carbon synchros. Slap some insane axles in that bitch and she will be good to go.
Yo that thing is a beast and its a simple vitara build. Whats the timing like with vitaras and 35psi?
It’s been a while since i was there recording it, I don’t recall how much timing was pulled ect
Did the block have cylinder support done to it and what kinda head studs was it running I have a very similar build
I’m pretty sure it was css block and l19 studs
@@BoostedDc4 ok thank you I’m getting ready to send my block off for css and was just trying to figure out what I wanted to do head stud wise
@@8301jarred no doubt 👌🏾
662 👀👀👀👀are u sure bro I thought 500 was the limit damn dats nice
Yes sir bone stock block and head never opened!
@@BoostedDc4 Uh? The description says Bisi cam, upgraded valve train, forged rods and vitara pistons. Yet now you claim its making 600 on a bone stock engine and that the head was never opened 🤣 daphuc
@@batman3698 pure sarcasm, as the description purely says the set up and the other comments say the set up… you my friend are just looking to argue lol off that
Looked like it wanted more rpm, why not rev it higher?
I believe it was due to it being stock sleeves he kept the rpm down.
What transmission does it have on it ?
I believe it was the z6 trans could be wrong.
I’m pretty sure that it was
What’s in the description is all is has ? I want to build a 600hp z6.
I believe it’s a css block and l19 studs, I can’t remember if the head was ported. It’s been a while since I’ve done the video
@@BoostedDc4 Okay one last question and thanks for replying, which is better vitara or cp pistons ?
@@golia_0132 cp for sure vitara has its limits as a cast piston
What clutch do you use...
I’m unsure of what clutch he was running at that time. Sorry
What exhaust manifold is that
I’m unsure, I’ll try to find out
What size intercooler is that
31x12x3 if I had to guess. I had a similar sized one on a old set up
@@BoostedDc4 what’s the setup???
How long this set up last
Honestly that’s a hard one to say. Abuse will play a big part and maintenance. I’d say the transmission would go before the engine does. It’s a css block with l19 studs but anything can be broken at any power level
I have abused the crap out of my boosted D16 for over 6 years. The only issues I have had are a few snapped axles and the Input shaft bearing going out on my transmission. They are tough little engines if you build and tune them correctly
