I love you shop and enjoy visiting it when I’m in MA. Your explanation for German short rows is terrific. I look forward to your blogs. Thank you.

Love the shawl recommendation for short rows. I found Ysabel…is that the one you showed? There’s always something extra on this podcast and it is so appreciated! Thank you! 🧶

Thanks for another great podcast. I prefer German short rows and usually substitute these for W & T. The thing I don’t know how to do if it is not part of a pattern is to modify the pattern by adding short rows at the back of a neck; I prefer the back neckline to be higher than the front. Love the Ysabel shawl with short rows and your version of the Missoni Accomplished sweater!

I’d appreciate a video on substituting German short rows for wrap and turns.

I see the difference between the two, I have only done the wrap and turn. The German short row seems to be used more now and I think it’s worth learning. But, I can see it will take some getting use to.

Try it out! Will only take you a once or twice to get comfortable... Good luck!

How awesome of your yarn store to be so willing to help! My local yarn store will charge a fee to help. I bought yarn from them and got stuck with instructions. So I didn’t like that and never bought from them again. This was when I was got back to knitting, before UA-cam and social media. Needless to say, they went out of business with the pandemic!

Thanks for the tipps! While watching it I actually knitt a sock with german short rows. I am german speaking and was wondering what german short rows are as we call them differently. Learned something new! :)
