What should be normalized is being true to oneself. But even so, being an idol requires to put up a face. You can’t be wholeheartedly true to yourself while being an idol with all the cameras pointed at you 24/7 (exaggerated, but it gets the point across). I do have to point out that (asian) idols, due to the nature of their industry, are expected to be more polite and cheerful in contrast to (western) stars who in some sense are portrayed more “human”. Like their life are more realistically portrayed and they’re not really smiling all the time. They get way less more at being angry and emotional.

I think there was once in her previous survival programme, the other contestants threw a surprise bday party for her n she cried because that was her first time and before that she barely had any friends. she’s not really sociable and at times lonely(which is quite sad). I think there was once in her previous survival programme, the other contestants threw a surprise bday party for her n she cried because that was her first time and before that she barely had any friends. Even the judges could tell she was quite lonely. But she opened up alot in ywy and got along well with others.

They also said I look angry and stiff. Unfortunately, some people became friends with me on their last year of school and some said they regretted not knowing me sooner because we share similar jokes and sense of humor.
