What are the most important devices that can be purchased to accurately determine the type of gemstone. I work in selling gemstones, I don't want expensive devices because I can't buy them

Polariscopes can be easily cheap. I've seen some online that you can buy for 10$. I would suggest looking at polariscopes with a price range between 17-30$.
