Hi there, I tried this today. My first time crocheting a necklace. I was just wondering have i done something wrong because if i were to pull the necklace it undoes the work. 😬
Hi Maria,
If you pull from the side you are crocheting, all your work will come undone. So keep crocheting until you have the right length, then when you pull the last thread through the last loop, pull the string all the way through. That will tie a knot that will keep your work from undoing. We show this in the video at about the 10 minute mark.

How long did you cut the string, and how long will the necklace be?
Great question! We used the whole skein of silk that came on the card. Here's the silk we used: amzn.to/2VspQzw It appears to be about 6 feet. Here's the complete how-to on our blog: runningwithsisters.com/how-to-bead-crochet/ Our finished necklace is 16.5 inches.
