Add the regenerative essence on amulet slot for constant health regen. Not sure if you can activate the "Greater" variant because of 170 vit requirement if you use Def heavy armors.
I know they probably won't perhaps due to clipping issues but for NG+ if they added the fur coat Kratos wears in the beginning sequence it would be all I use regardless of stats, it looks so badass on him.
Every few years there is a game that comes out that I just can’t put down, this is definitely one of them. It is hard to imagine SMS making something that stacks up to the 2018 God of War but they’ve done it, it’s bigger and better! If I didn’t have to do adult responsible stuff I’d be playing this all day!

ive been jumping from game to game since i put 50+ Hours into GOWR, getting platinum. Nothing holds me like this game did, and it just make me feel lost!
Steinbjorn chest + Berserker's wrists and Berserker's belt for mix of dmg and def and relic regen. Greater Regenerative Essence, Emblem of Elusion and Crest of Desperate Heroics for more insane def. Niflhem and Svartalfheim essences on rest of the amulet. With correct pommels u can get vit to 172. Hilt of Skofnung relic. On Gmgow it wrecks and heals insane. I feel totally safe with this and I tested a lot of combos. + Rond of restoration for more healz.
I thought these trolls might get activated in new game plus, good to know that they are fightable after finding this relict. Love all the hidden secret stuff in GoW
When you have done all of that you can go to svatelheim(or however it's spelled, (dwarf land)) there you can find a stone dragon you can use the relic on that will drop a gem that gives you ALOT of extra rage depending on how much vitality you got.
I'm still searching for a set that really juices up offense. I play it on Give Me God of War, healing is irrelevant since anything you face can one or two shot you anyway, so it's better to have the most damaging build possible in my experience. If you can help a fellow out with such a set, I'd be grateful
Dragon chest. I think with slowdown gaunts and legs. Parrying & blocking gives you a strength and defense buff that stacks 3x, so your style particuarly against bosses would be block parry attack, wait. Then dodging red attacks gives you a slowdown period, allowing you to spam attacks. the issue is the damage isnt the greatest. Albeit I use it to build up the stun bar and switch between weapons for elemental build up. BUT elemental build up seems to happen to slow, that it is almost better to just stick with a weapon you enjoy, spam your square button, and try to build the stun bar on bosses for the damage burst, while simply block and parrying properly.
Just use the Blades of chaos effectively in combination with status like poison or bifrost (by using the arrows or relics), keep them charged as much as possible and always try and burn. Shit melts every enemy even fire resistant ones they Made Blades op in this Game.
I’m literally depressed about it! I got the platinum on the first play through just so I could have actual fun with the story with my nice armor smh. It’s already bad enough we don’t get to use Thor’s hammer.
At the very least, they could add a mode similar to the training area at the front of the Raven Tree but for bosses like a spot in Helheim to conjure up enemies past. Thematically appropraite and fun for all.

@@Mautrail3 I mean the game is quite lengthy on its own without the side quests and whatnot and already offers a substantial amount of content. The purpose of the game was to offer an experience, not keep you holding on. To me, at least, they struck a balance between side quests and story. Any more or less would turn the game into a slogfest. Like you said, if they didn't think about what we'll do after, maybe it's because there IS nothing to do after. If you've played through the game and found it boring, uninteresting or even difficult to have fun with, then I don't know what to tell ya other than I guess it's not your game.
There's a build where you get max defense and there's a set of amulets where it increases your power and it does alot of damage but tanks alot so it's really balanced

I find playing through it on the highest difficulty on my first go around is the best way to get the amount of time out of it I'd prefer. I probably have close to that many hours in it with my more limited time to play, but I am nowhere near completing it. I'm like one chapter 11.
I 100% everything. Didn’t get all the armor sets cause there’s no achievements attached to it. But it took me bout 65ish hours. My tips, kill all ravens you can within the area the story takes you. 2, explore and collect as many relics and artifacts. Two max out a set of armor get to level 8 and take out the beserkers before the end of the game. I did every side quest within the part of the story I was in. And basically try to get to 80-90% if you can on every realm
I'm impressed with how much and how fast the Bloodthirsty Retaliation buff replenishes health. I currently have Giptumadr's Breastplate which in addition to having great stats the perk "Fortune's Refresh" (Moderate LUCK chance when using a Runic Attack or Relic to immediately restore 70% of its Cooldown) restores my Runic and Relic so fast and so often I just love it so I don't want to replace it for the Steinbjorn Plackart and sacrifice a lot of the other stats in the process since Steinbjorn only has Defence stat. I have the Steinbjorn Engraving which gives the same Bloodthirsty Retaliation as the chest piece so hoping to slot that in Enchantments instead but the Perk Requirement is so high at 650 Defence needed I'm unable to reach that right now. I still need about 50-53 Defense still. Considered all how to switch around stuff to make it but just can't at the moment but working towards it. I'm on my 3rd NG+ right now with pretty good all-round stats etc. Might take another NG+ to safely make the requirement.
The Steinbjorn set offers mainly increase of a singular stat leaving the other vital stats way too low@@dazdavis7896 . Other gear with a mix of stats are better IMO.
I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that the devs may not nerf it. Example would be the ivaldi armor from 2018 is pretty much the same. And tailsman of betrayal, you can slow time darn near indefinitely with the glitch/seemingly intended secret mechanic.
The ivaldi armor wasn't broken though. It was good but I still don't see how people think it was the best. The healing for between combats is all I used it for. Unless I missed something? Otherwise it was all about valkyrie
I'd be shocked if it got nerfed. With how late you get it, how little there is left to do and the fact it's not some sort of live-service game- A nerf would be such a pointless move.
Not sure if this has been nerfed but exact build and not working on PS5 Fighting berserker who has poison and the lots of ads! I managed to kill him, but unless I am using it wrong getting health back is not as fast as it is in the video, in fact much much slower. Great as usual though, Jor.
You gotta do a rage fate breaker build it's the most kratos build you can make I don't get why ppl are not making this you can put a boon where you wrath shockwave blows up any element while doing that slam and keep doing it omg it's so over

What I meant was that I always do not like videos that try to push you into doing things and doing it now and not when you yourself like to do it. It is just a little bit annoying to do that. usually after a week or so, they give everyone time to beat it once, plus they wanna see what bugs/glitches we find, good or bad so they can fix/nerf them. lol

@JorRaptor…i have a question…in the labours section there is a louder for dragons (dragons down), I have 100% in all areas and platinum trophy but the dragon down labour is 4 of 5. Am I missing a secret dragon? Are u able to upgrade all the pieces of the dragon armour to level 9, because for me I need 1 dragon claw.
Unrelated question, how do you get to fight the 5th dragon? I got a labor call dragón killer 4/5 and I can’t find it plus I need the resources to fully upgrade the armor set.
Thats build will be great and work fine if i will have lck 70 rage and heal increase from amulet Stone idol of souls :) i have two builds with luck more than 70. Do i use it this build later but i dont know how to ibcrease it now at lvl 34:) for pure power of this buold

It's a quest with Rok (the Blue Dwarf) and main storyline, have to go to a forge to help him. quite late in the story. about as much as i can say without spoilers. lol

I'm wondering if this hasn't been nerfed already. This video is now 6 days old and your comment along with other "new" comments are saying it's not working for them. For some reason when I'm in battle and aim it's flipping Kratos around to view behind him like a while 180* spin. Yep, starting armor has the highest total base stats. Lacks an effect though, so you will have less damage, or survivability, etc. Good armor set if you don't really care about armor effects

Poisen deals damage. Additionally, why suggest they nerf? If people think they need it, let them have it. If people want a challenge they'll do something else, simple.

The health regeneration didn’t give me the same amount of recovery. It wasn’t much at all to be honest.
I mean it’s god of war so grinding out materials that make you feel like a god as a reward makes perfect sense and it’s pretty awesome
I didn't try it myself but I bet that chest pairs nicely with the surtr arms and waist that reduces damage and stagger while attacking as well.

The steinbjorn set is a 100X better. There are other ways to get cooldown increases.

quite the opposite really. You can get one or two shot instantly so there is no time to actually heal :D

If your health is constantly regenerating who needs a ton of strength. You will fight longer without dying.

This is single player game, not a multiplayer game. It’s very rare that items in single player games get nerfed.

@JorRaptor…i have a question…in the labours section there is a louder for dragons (dragons down), I have 100% in all areas and platinum trophy but the dragon down labour is 4 of 5. Am I missing a secret dragon? Are u able to upgrade all the pieces of the dragon armour to level 9, because for me I need 1 dragon claw.
Use the mystical talisman that lets you fight the trolls on the dragon statue in svartalfheim, dragon's beach.

Thats build will be great and work fine if i will have lck 70 rage and heal increase from amulet Stone idol of souls :) i have two builds with luck more than 70. Do i use it this build later but i dont know how to ibcrease it now at lvl 34:) for pure power of this buold

Roughly 2/3 of the game.
It's a quest with Rok (the Blue Dwarf) and main storyline, have to go to a forge to help him. quite late in the story. about as much as i can say without spoilers. lol

Don't know how the fuck yours is generating this much health. I have been wearing this armor for a good number of hours and this has NEVER happened.
I'm wondering if this hasn't been nerfed already. This video is now 6 days old and your comment along with other "new" comments are saying it's not working for them. I'm also having an issue with it working. It's the double edged sword of UA-cam videos. Some of this stuff I'd never know (also have this issue on Destiny 2, The Division 2) but the minute they put out a video, especially someone this big in the God of War community, the devs see it and nerf whatever it is.

**PLEASE HELP** Hey there, I'm wondering if you could help me with a technical issue I'm having during battle. For some reason when I'm in battle and aim it's flipping Kratos around to view behind him like a while 180* spin. Is there a setting or something that i can turn off so this doesn't interrupt me in battle? I'm getting quite sick of this happening and taking unnecessary damage because my back is turned...
If you go to the gameplay Settings you can change the way Kratos turns, choose the one best for you.
What is that troll doing in the Crater?? I’ve 100% the Crater but didn’t encounter him…But a similar Troll spawned for me in Svartalfheim where we freed Tyr

Ehhh tbh I like the original set we start out with, I was just messing with stuff and it actually it’s the best OVERALL armor set stat wise I’ve been slaughtering shit with that set lol
Yep, starting armor has the highest total base stats. Lacks an effect though, so you will have less damage, or survivability, etc.
Good armor set if you don't really care about armor effects

Poisen deals damage. Additionally, why suggest they nerf? If people think they need it, let them have it. If people want a challenge they'll do something else, simple.

There’s 2 attachments that constantly heal you and u can equip both and that was missed

I use the steinbjorn chest with the surtr wrist and waist for a little razzle dazzle, i take like no damage and if I do I just heal😂
