ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

I absolutely love kodaline and they honestly deserve more appreciation for there talent since there so blooming talented
Omg you have no idea how happy i am you reacted to my favourite band Kodaline!! They also did this numerous of times, they did this with High Hopes, All I Want (sadly shaky and somehow aesthetic camera), Big Bad World, etc and their newest songs from their new album. They also did this occasionally in Ireland so yes, they were quite comfortable doing stuff like this. They also do their harmonization a lot, even at concerts and festivals, they took music seriously! You haven’t listened to their best harmonies + steve (the vocalist) bestest vocals yet! They did this amazing acapella of “I Wouldn’t Be” in mahogany sessions and boy, it sounds sooooo freaking heavenly!!
I had the privilege of meeting all these lads and they’re just as sweet as their music. So good
Kodaline has some of the most emotional, brilliant songs and this is by far, their best! especially if u have a brother
Hmmm yes Kodaline is amazing and so is this song (try watching the original video when you can, it's so amazingly touching) and they have done this idea quite a few times and yes "All I want" is also from them and did something similar with this song as well.
Truly ana amazing band and the singer is really good with such a hint of meloncholy in emotion in his voice

TheShiawasena You can tell I went to krakow last autumn and the city was absolutely stunning, the streets and the stone brick buildings were all pristine and the women there were all beautiful too, Poland’s a great place to visit

I married a fantastic tenor and it was his beautiful voice that I noticed first (then his gorgeous brown eyes) some 34 years ago!! A beautiful tenor voice, well there’s nothing more wonderful!! Thank you for reacting to this song. Yes it is the same guy who sing both songs. This means alot to me since I lost my brother. There where things that I didn't even notice and I'm glad you re-winded to re-listen to that specific part so I could pick up on it. It's defiantly a song that gets stuck in your head for a while. I don't why but this reminded me of Zaz in the video named Zaz à Montmartre : Les passants ... Very live and raw, just standing outside a wine bar and making excellent music. Minus the times she hits her lapel mic with her bracelets :D. I love a nice produced studio or live track. But back to basics with the raw sound, just playing and singing and certainly not needing producing at all. Very nice when it's musicians and singers who has some real talent.

I think maybe I'll make that my screen name... Hmmm... I'll have to ponder that...
Anyway, we all have our passions, don't we? We all have those windows and doors to that paradise of universal harmony that we all so dearly need.
Those windows are there to be gazed through. Those doors are to be thrown open wide and run through. Serenity is just a little bit of work away.
Sadly, not everyone does that bit of work, but it's there...
One of my passions is martial arts. I earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and came close to earning a second degree.
You mentioned that it's not nice to hit someone and generally I agree.
I would, however, like to offer for your consideration that there is a very strong bond between trained combatants that transcends race, and status, and genealogy. There is truth in the phrase, "Brothers and Sisters in Arms." I know to most it sounds brutal, and it sounds primitive, but the amount of respect and trust that is shared between those that could very easily kill or be killed during training is something that I have yet to find anywhere else. I also served in the U.S. Air Force many years ago and I saw it there as well.
The lyrics in the song speak to a bond like this. The whole song is dedication and commitment to a "Brother" (or a sister I might add. We love the girls too!)
As you can tell, I like to talk a lot too. Sorry if I'm sucking up all your bandwidth.

Becca! Sweetie! You are looking stunning here, as usual. And, oh, there is a New York City band called "The Band Geeks" that is simply amazing. I don't know how they got so good. Maybe they're all session musicians. So far as I know, all they do is covers. But ... Sweet Jesus ... what covers. I've heard at least three of them sing as well as play instruments, and each one could have been a lead singer on his/her own. I'm including a link for their cover of Jefferson Starship's "Jane", sung by one of their girl singers, Ann Marie Castellano ua-cam.com/video/JOZZd04iCJE/v-deo.html They usually record their podcast in Richie Castellano's basement, I think (he has bachelor's and master's degrees in music production). You can just tell how much fun they're having. You can _always_ tell how much fun they're having. Maybe that's why they're so good. Btw, the guy who founded the group is Richie Castellano, who has played with Blue Oyster Cult for many, many years now. Anyway, I'd love to hear your reaction to them.
