- In this Knife Show Sunday video we discuss the TRUE fixed blade knife. I saw this knife and it caught my eye. Then when I felt the handle I had to give it a try. There will definitely be more to come on this knife.
For me the most attractive feature that made me get it is the lack of serrations. I can't stand knives with serrations
I'm right there with you. I know they serve a purpose but not in what I mainly use my knives for. I see the benefit if you were going to be cutting rope, cordage or strapping material but that's it. Thanks for watching
A Great New Addition There, Thanks David, Hap-E Slicing, Friend ! ATB T God Bless
Thank you sir. God bless and thanks for watching
I am liking the knife! Good preview!
It's definitely different. Thanks, I wish I could have found more info on it. Thanks for watching

@@LegionTacticoolCutlery thanks for the info
Never heard of them. Looks pretty interesting though. Thanks for showing it to us!
I hadn't either. I took a chance on it. We'll see how it turns out. Thanks for watching
It is sure a nice looking knife and I love it being ambidextrous but I love even better it being setup left handed. That NEVER happens!!!
Thanks for sharing this Dave, will be interesting to see how it holds up. I have been fortunate with my budget blades for the most part. Most have held up incredibly well even at abusive use.
Have a blessed week 👍🏻
That was one of the first things I noticed, being a lefty. And you're right, I do believe this is the first o e I've ever seen already set up for a lefty right out of the box. You're very welcome ma'am same to you and thanks for watching
Recently saw one at my pharmacist-small town kinda place. It being a lefty is now a sale for me-none of my knifes have lefty sheaths for the belt. Means I have to juggle and struggle to get one into use.
That was the first thing I noticed. I’ve got to say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this knife. Thanks for watching
Staying tuned for the full review on it, I was suprised at the price some reason I was expecting a big number
The price surprised me as well. I'm going to beat on it for a while and then do a follow-up on it. Thanks for watching
Awesome my friend, thanks for sharing with us, take care n god bless
Thank you. You're very welcome. Take care as well and thanks for watching
@@CentralKyBushcraft your welcome very much my friend, and thank you, God bless
Come across this knife at a mon & pop gun store here in NC. People wanted 145 bucks and its made in China...HAHAHAHAHA. I can buy an ESEE for less. Came home and did a little research and the knife was on Amazon for $24 bucks. Its a China knife but worth $24 bucks so I ordered one. My sheath is a bit different than yours but other than that, its a 24 dollar knife. My sheath has the 3rd loop at the tip so you can flip it left to right and it not be a problem. Its even marked TRUE on both sides.
Seeing the knife at my local hardware store and thought it looked cool and decided to pick it up a couple days later. Little to my knowledge the sheath seemed like a piece of crap. Couple days later and I found out that you can position the sheath on the knife and then strap it there for keeping it extremely secure. Absolutely no wiggle it’s awesome.
I’ve been impressed with it for the price. The sheath has held up well to be made of plastic. I tightened mine up with a heat gun and bending it in a few places. But overall I’ve been pleased. Thanks for watching
I think it's designed for Molle sticks or Molle speed clips which seems like a smart idea. Really cool looking knife. The Chinese have been making knives for a few thousand years and in recent times they have been improving the quality of their Steel. One Chinese Knife Company I have a few knives from buys their steel from the USA. So for all you know you could have USA Steel in that knife.
It’s really surprised me on how well it’s held up. Definitely worth the $40 I spent on it. Thanks for watching
Love Hogue feel!
I do too! That's one of the reasons I had to try this knife. Thanks for watching
Interesting design
Yes it is. That's part of what got my attention. Thanks for watching
Nice looking knife
It is for the price. The handle is what really sold me on it. Thanks for watching
Just got one of these for Christmas. So far really enjoying it. I also absolutely love the handle; feels like it's not going anywhere unless I want it to, you know? Weight is good, almost perfectly balanced. Came sharp out of the box and I've knocked myself a couple times because sometimes I'm still a child and f*ck around flipping and rolling the knife in my one hand 😂.
I am very impressed with this knife. And as far as the handle, you're absolutely right! I think we all do that. Lol. Thanks for watching
Cool looking knife
Thanks. I thought it was different as well. Thanks for watching
@@CentralKyBushcraft you are very welcome bud
I've never heard of them either. Not a bad price.
The price was definitely a surprise. Time will tell how it is. Thanks for watching
Most everything is made in some building across the "big pond" from here....that being said, price point was fair, it goes well with my Kimber Desert Warrior and I won't cry a hundred tears should it go MIA....God bless
So true! I’ve been impressed with how well it’s held up. Thanks for watching
I always remove the coatings anyway.. (not a fan) lol so that's not a big deal.. Handle suprises me.. Doesn't look like it would be comfortable
I usually remove the coatings as well. This one is really smooth compared to the coatings on ESEE and TOPS. The handle was really the biggest surprise to me about this knife as well. It's crazy comfortable in the hand. Thanks for watching
Nice never heard of them bit it looks like it will be good ?
I haven't either. But time will tell if it's any good or not. Thanks for watching
Just bought one today lets see how long it last 😁
It really surprised me how well it held up for the price. It didn't come real sharp but that was easily fixed. You'll have to let us know your thoughts on it after a bit. Thanks for watching
I just bought this and the sheath seems to be an absolute POS. Tons of rattling, if i hold it upside down it damn near just falls out, a tiny shake and its loose. at 4:40 you do a close up of it in your sheath where the upper plastic tab is laying almost flush with the ridges on the back, while mine has a huge gap here. There's also no loop at all like you have, must be a newer type sheath that's just more instantly ambidextrous. Any way around this or is this sheath just for the trash?
Mine was loose as well when I got it. I took a heat gun and heated the tab you’re talking about and bent it down to tighten it up. Made a huge difference in the retention. The sheath is definitely the weak point. Without seeing your sheath I can’t tell you if the changed the design or not but they need to address the the sheath for sure. Thanks for watching
I just don’t understand why it’s made for left handed people
Lol. I believe they intended it to be used as a combat knife and to be worn on the off-hand side. Hence why it’s setup for the left side of the body. Thanks for watching
Its left handed 🙁
Yes it is or right hand scout carry. Wait, what's wrong with left handed? Lol. Thanks for watching
Cheap steel , not made in USA, lots of blade rattle! Cheap junk
I agree, it's cheap stainless steel. Sheath is made of plastic and poorly fit. It was a budget knife but if it cuts what you want it to then it does what it's meant to do. I'm curious to see how it performs. That is yet to be determined. Thanks for watching
