I certainly liked tom kollonborn he was my teacher at AJHS back in the early 80s
Enjoyed it hank & larry good Lord willing l want to get down that way and stop in and say hey
Another great tale wove by Hank by way of Tom Collenborn. More treasure revealed from the chest that is Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains. Much thanks to Hank, Larry and crew. I love what you do. Be well, be safe, be happy! Appreciate you all
Nice story , if I ever go up into the mountains on foot it won't be looking for treasure , it will be for the scenery and maybe stumble across an artifact . I would like to hike to the base of weavers needle though .
Another enjoyable story!!, thanks guys!🙋♀️🙅♀️🙆♀️
Thanks Hank
thanks for the story. I think people have it backwards these days. instead of specifically going to look for treasure why not go for a few days hike and enjoy the views relax and take a" thousand" pictures .lots of treasures have been found by just stumbling on them, if you find something good if not you will at least have a thousand little pieces of gold. take care men.
Love your historical tales of the Superstition Mountains.
Live your channel so much thanks again!
Another great 👍😊🤠 story. I really enjoy your stories.
You know Hank, I just love all these stories and many others of the old West. But, the future is near and rolling forward and so many stories have yet to be told. I sincerely hope that you can find a couple of protegie's to keep telling these stories. As a young man I used to metal detect our here in the East, PA respectfully, never finding much but always read of the Old West in the modern Treasure magazines of the day. It would be a shame to loose this site as we hunger for the rich yellow metal and ancient relics of the past.
Hank, What Happened to Myer Shoevitz - Do We Know Where He Came From ? Or Went To ? Just Wondering ? Thanks, Stay Safe...
Thanks for the wonderful story!!!!!!!!
Great story Hank you are one of the best around like Dolan Ellis with his songs about the great Arizona deserts
@Hank Sheffer your very welcome Hank
It's amazing how much people over rate their abilities and ignore local know how and warnings. Where greed begins logic ends.
I so love this whole channel...monte
Thanks for another story, you keep making them and I’ll keep watching. Always enjoy them. 👍👍
howdy and thank ya for a history lesson of your great mountain "superstition"....sometimes I think there's another reason y they call gold {fools gold}...
Yee Hawww! Can't wait for this heat to go away so I can backpack into those beautiful mountains.
Thank you for sharing it
It goes to show how deadly those mountains are not for the inexperienced for the beginners 1. Bring lots of water 2. Stay on the trails 3. Dont wander off the trails 4. If going off trail always go with someone that knows that area like the back of your hand
My question is this…Will there ever be a day that someone does find the lost Dutchman Mine and brings back the gold to prove it? I personally haven’t heard of anyone doing so or it would have been made abundantly clear to everyone who is still looking for it.
Another great story guys
That's crazy logic. Let's say it's true and the guy thought just like Waltz. It still wouldn't have worked because Waltz wasn't the original locator of the mine. Oops.
@Hank Sheffer According to Bicknell, it was the Peraltas. Had to be someone else other than Waltz since Waltz came upon 6 Mexican miners working the mine when he first saw it.
@Hank Sheffer Hmm even so, I do have to wonder how much digging Waltz actually did. A lot of mines are easy to locate because of the tell-tale pile of loose material next to the entrance. Obviously that gets eroded over time, and can be hauled off by the miners to farther locations... but... how much of the that was Jacob even able to do? it seems like his physical well being was the reason he stopped mining.
@Hank Sheffer Interesting. I've never heard that before. So can anything from Bicknell's account be believed?
Pretty sure i can find it. Take a left after that mountain ...
Well the Dutchman's mind probably will never be found you got to remember that earthquake was in that area and covered up all signs
Do not pass up on your chance to find a horde of Gold, Vast Wealth, All Owned by Death.
*"Clarification" grasshopper ...*
The true Gold, the Treasure, is the *"experience(s)"* That's the real purpose of our Life Journey.
*When one realizes this, and applies the feelings of Appreciation, "then the material Gold will manifest".*
*... and that is Absolute, it 8s defined in the Universal Laws, particularly the "Universal Law of Attraction"*
"absolute" ...
No one is a loser, particularly those whom come to realize, it's about evolving from the Lower Mind, aka (Ego Mind, aka Adolescent Mind) to the Higher Mind aka Mature Mind.
There is where we truly, literally experience the desires, and there we can manifest our dreams, even gold.
John 3:16
